This hotel is not at the top of the Stelvio pass - but on the Italian side - with great views of the winding road up, the nearby glacier-topped mountains and a field full of Marmots!
The rooms are a nice alpine-style (don't expect 4* bathroom). They cooked us a vegetarian 3 course meal - which was pretty good. However the staff don't seem to speak English or Italian (expect the friendly woman who checked us in). Breakfast is pretty good (but don't expect a massive choice).
