I was given a voucher for Wildings for a recent birthday so my husband and I booked in for dinner. We have been here several times before and once again we enjoyed an excellent meal with excellent friendly service. Every course was delicious, well presented and served with a smile. I would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxing appetising meal.

We had heard various highly congratulatory reports about this restaurant and were quite delighted to accept and invitation to eat there. The staff are quite laid back and can enjoy banter with the clientele' their service was excellent and the food well prepared and well presented on nicely heated plates. It may have been because of the horsemeat scandal at the time but the menu was quite restricted to fish and seafood dishes with an acknowledgment to a lamb - no beef at all! Because of its proximity to Turnberry Golf Course and Hotel it maintains a certain ambience in keeping with its lordly neighbours but is a lovely addition to the simple little village of Maidens. On top of all that for the quality of the food and the comfortable and very tidy restaurant the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Can recommend it!

Reasonably priced and good country food. Fish and chips, soups and friendly staff. Stopped in with no reservations at lunch and they were very accommodating.

.... where to eat, sleep and thoroughly enjoy. As part of a Christmas and Valentines treat my partner and I spend a night in this absolutely delightful haven. We had been a couple of times for a meal before and always spoken about booking a room... so that we both could enjoy a cheeky vino without the worry of the drive home. Well we knew the food to be superb and were not in the slightest bit disappointed when we booked into our room (No.1 by the way) wow and double wow... fabulous.... and as for that view!!!! Now from the outside the building doesn't look too much to get excited about..... but turn those stairs for your room and you discover another place entirely. Well done and congratulations to the owners.... fantastic from the minute you step over the threshold.... the warm welcoming smile and assistance from ALL of the staff , the wonderful freshly prepared scrumptious food and that room... wow cannae wait to go back. We had a fabulous time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this haven to anyone just looking to chill or have a wee romantic interlude......It doesn't cost the earth for what you get..the service in the restaurant was first class, nothing was too much bother and all done with a genuine smile...our only problem was what will we choose to eat..... great selection and as for the breakfast....... well guess who joined weightwatchers too soon..yep me..... the pro points were well and truely hammered that night. Well enough of me rambling on... why not just go give it a try.... you know it makes sense...

We had a meal here while staying at the Turnberry Hotel.
The resaturant was busy without being overcrowded and the atmosphere was informal and welcoming. The food was beautifully prepared and presented.
