I had the pleasure of sighting a whale spouting from this wonderful full view of the beach and water to the south. I always go ther to sit and read in the sun.

This is a place that you can simply sit there and watching the world revolves around you. People from all walks of life would congregate here and it's such a spectacle to watch. Owners with their loyal Lab dogs covered halfway in mud, hippies reading Penguin novels or practicing their flutes or whatever, aspiring performers that are rehearsing and honing on their somersaults and sticks, first time wanderers with their dog-eared Lonely Planet book and trying out angles of their best selfie shots, bronze and toned young men and women showing off their wares to the world, surfers, swimmers, paddle boaters, Lulu Lemon brigade and the list continues. On a perfect day, when the day is warm and calm, this is truly God zone. A local friend of mine informed me also that this is also a popular spot for people to bid their final farewell to the world and jumping off to their eternity. From time to time, Bondi Rescue would be around this area with helicopter overhead clambering for missing persons, and in most of the time, they find the inevitable. Suffice to say, this place is a representation of life, traversing between life and death. If you are curious regarding what the fuss is all about, do come here for a good look. Highly recommended.

The bit we know as the Park has a few bench seats, on various levels. The grass is well maintained, but there are quite a few ants. A great area to take photographs from.

The location and scenery gives the best spot in Bondi beach area, definitely worth the short walk to reach there and got nice romantic pics taken there.
