Arrived at 7.30, seated immediately by friendly knowledgeable waitstaff. Bread ( the yummy, chewy type ) and olives were produced within minutes, together with a heavenly Leban....a welcome change from the olive oil/butter usually offered.
We were a party of six, so we ordered 3 entrees to share, all salads, all winners! Go the cabbage salad and the beetroot with candied walnuts.
Most of us had the barramundi, the other 2 blokes had beef fillet and the prime rib.....650 gms, and he struggled to finish it! All mains were perfect.
No room for dessert, but fresh mint tea, with brownies was served as well.
All in all, this evening rated 5/5.

It's a small intimate setting so you must make reservations first but well worth it! The Gouda app is a must if you're a cheese lover. Staff is very knowledgable about wine pairings & the wine list is good. I had a pasta dish & my husband had filet. We both loved it!! Finished our night with divine cheese cake. Overall, if you don't mind spending a few bucks, this is the place for you!

Very nice night at this Bondi local. Was very busy, so orders took a while, but wasn't an issue, as buzzy atmosphere and food was great once arrived. Had the scallops, duck confit, and a lemon dessert that I forget what it was. but it was yummy.

We were keen to try somewhere off the beaten path in Bondi, and specifically not on the beach. Did some quick googling and found this place - what a gem! Great service, and seriously delicious breakfast. Not just your stock standard breakfast menu either. My partner had a daily special of home made baked beans with slow cooked pork hock, and avacado salsa ($16). I tried the dill and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, with ricotta and mushrooms, on sourdough ($15). I also added on the hash browns - round balls of potato with spring onions, which was refreshing to see they were not just the usual pre-made frozen variety! Great service, and a funky atmosphere. The lunch / dinner menu looked divine also. Very happy.
