Meriton Suites, Bondi Junction offers a convenient location, accessible to public transport for a quick trip to the CBD or the world famous Bondi Beach! The employees were pleasant, friendly & welcoming. The suite was also clean, comfortable and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would undoubtedly recommend Meriton.

We stayed for Christmas but won't go back. Nothing about this place made us feel welcome or comfortable - I'm all for a reno and refresh, but if they're going to take our money and charge their prices then they need to work harder to avoid the construction, trades, noise and general disruption affecting their guests, which based on the way we were checked in, isn't a priority either..

We stayed for five nights in a luxury two bedroom apartment. Overall we really loved our stay. It is the cleanest apartment I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The express service each day was amazing and in particular I loved that they did this regardless of how late we left the apartment! We aren’t morning people and would often not leave until 1pm, even later some days and each day our room was still serviced. It truly felt great!

The rooms we spacious and we were able to feel very at home there. I do hate that the beds were actually the zip together beds - especially in the main room. It just isn’t very comfortable. Also - one other thing I hated was that the kids room opened onto an outdoor balcony. Thankfully our kids are a bit older (8 and 13) and were under strict instructions not to go out there without us. The balcony doors and windows really were terrible, they need an oil or something because we often couldn’t get them shut or open, then when it was windy there was a great howling noise!

One other thing worth mentioning is the noise from above. All day and night we could here the people above us walking around and moving furniture. We were actually woken up by it in the middle of the night on multiple occasions. Not sure how this can be fixed but I’ve never been in an apartment with so much noise!

In other reviews people talked a lot about the lifts - we had no issues. You absolutely can’t fault the location either, at any time of day we were able to go downstairs and get a bus to Bondi Beach or the city.

Parking is absolutely atrocious. We drove from Brisbane and had no idea where to park when we got there as there is no pull in bay to wait while you check in. You also have to go three levels up from the street to check in. This really needs to be on the check in information given to guests prior to their stay. We finally worked out that You can just go and park in the parking bay while checking in - but don’t expect a car park. We saw a family driving around for hours looking for one. We were lucky but then just didn’t move the car for fear of losing the park. I was told staff would assist with this but it seemed like they didn’t care less!

As I said - we enjoyed our stay and the apartment was amazing but there a few things that really need to be fixed up.

Me and my family of two girls booked a luxury 2 bedroom suite for 1 night. This “luxury” suite was located on the 2nd floor with views of the construction work and the highway. Both were noisy and the suite also was situated perhaps above the gym as loud clangs could be heard as if barbells were being picked up and dropped. This made for quite an unpleasant stay in terms of location and it felt like I had been very much ripped off from a luxury experience. Service was also terrible with the front desk taking forever to pick up when all I wanted was a menu. The menu then took 15mins to arrive at my door! Then as the cherry on the cake, the suite, meant to include Foxtel, instead only had channel 7 channels set up. What a joke, by this stage too upset even to bother trying to call service again. Btw they charge $11 on top of Deliveroo just for taking it to your room. So in conclusion this was a terrible experience and not worth the money paid even with a discounted price when booking.

This property has been renovated recently, and is very nicely furnished with all the amenities you could want for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic. You are a few metres from Bondi Junction station, with trains leaving for the city (3-4 stops away) every few minutes. You are also right opposite the Westfield shopping complex, with everything from supermarkets, restaurants and high-end shopping. Bondi Beach is a 15 minute bus ride away, and you can also catch buses to other tourist destinations with ease. The staff are very professional and eager to please.
