This place is next to the "tren de la costa" train station (if you're going to Tigre it's a nice train to go on - a bit more expensive than the regular train but much more relaxing, and it takes you right into the middle of the nice parts of San Isidro and Tigre). Stop off if you get the chance and have a meal or a drink at this bar/restaurant. The food is really good (what I would think of as typical bar food, but with an Argentinian twist) and it's all made fresh - they even do their own bread for the hamburgers. Really reasonable prices, even by Argentinian standards (and crazy cheap if you arrive with dollars/euros). Try the nachos, ribs, or a lamb hamburger - or go all out and get a pizza (they're BIG) and make sure you get a "fernet con cola" to wash it all down, like a local!
The staff that we talked to were all fluent in English and had some great tips on what to do around San Isidro too - bonus :)
