Myself, my mother and my young son(18months) stayed here for 5 nights in late May and had a wonderful time. I'd read the reviews beforehand and so was aware of its remoteness but it is definitely better than the majority of the reviews. You don't need a car! The complex itself is lovely, perfect for relaxing but if you want to get out there is a bus from reception to the nearest town, it's €1.50 and takes bout 20 mins and is a lovely trip for scenery. From there you can get a tram for another €1.45 to Alicante if you want, only another 20 mins. We only went as far as the local town as it had all we needed, lovely beach, lovely bars and shops. There is also a beach near the complex buts it's a hilly 25 mins walk and there's no cafes or shade or anything so we just got the bus to town. The staff are lovely, the apartments, whilst not quite as nice as the pictures are still lovely and big. The view from the cliff apartments is amazing, worth every penny! The complex shop is a rip off, better do a shop in the local town and taxi back for max €15. I would totally recommend these apartments. Only issue we had was a rowdy wedding one night but we mentioned it a reception next day and there wasn't a peep out of anyone for the rest of our stay.

I am totally in love with the place. The staff, from the cleaners to the management have courtesy and care of the highest degree. We travelled on a last minute deal with sun master but upgraded directly with Pueblo Acantilado to the two disabled apartments with balconies with spectacular cliffside views..just spectacular!
I knew we were in safe hands immediately I began to communicate our needs to Monica when altering our booking and was constantly impressed by the efficiently and helpful attitude of the reception staff.
There is a very efficient buggy service to ferry my father ( or other disabled or just lazy people) up and down the Pueblo..which is so beautifully designed with truly beautiful trees and shrubs.
During our short stay there were at least three weddings. The Roman Amphitheatre is a real gem...it is altogether an inspiring venue for all sorts of events.
We only ate at El Pontet: It is beautiful and the food is very, very good. The wine of the region is inspiring too!
I had a couple of Mojitos made by the fabulous Sebastion in the bar by the reception. Thanks for the priceless advise.
My father is 82 and has been suffering from Parkinsons disease for twenty years and was inspired to dive into the pool! I also travelled with my daughter who has been suffering from depression and my other daughter who has type one diabetes..We all felt really cared for.
I can only say from our experience of Pueblo Acantilado that it did us all the power of good and there is as much to do as one wants. However, Antonios car service is very efficient and fairly priced if you want to make excursions. We found El campello and Villa joyosa lovely.
We also met some great fellow holiday makers. For the lovely family from Cornwall I promised I would mention the need for wd40 for the door hinges.
The view of Aitana is incredible..there is so much more I could say..but a heart felt Gracias for now. Katharine and family.

great apartments and service but you need a car and the 3 restraurants are restricted and take it in turns to close so a car is a definate must also no beach but the pool is great and the view from the apartment is to die for in fact you will if you lean over the balcony too far!

Room Tip: go for one with a sea view,its a must

Dear Ralph;

We’re really glad that you found the apartments and the view fantastic, and just want everybody to know that you are right about the car, it is really recommendable to have a car if you stay in hour resort. For people without car, have a small bus from the Resort to the center of El Campello, but is just driving 5 times a day.

Thank you for your feedback Ralph, we hope to see you soon back.

Best regards

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week from April 1st 2015. On arrival the reception staff were quick and helpful. Our luggage and ourselves were transported to our suite. The room was spacious and clean. We found we had no kettle so contacted the reception and they brought one very quickly. We were a little disappointed with view from the room, we mentioned this to reception and as there was availability they moved us to a different room with a pool view. The staff did everything in the move. We found all the staff really helpful, friendly and polite. That was not only the reception staff but any one of the staff in the complex. The whole place was very well kept. We ate in the upper restaurant a couple of times and found it a pleasant experience. Sebastian the barman kept us well entertained with his good humour and friendliness. Nothing was any trouble to him. Juan Carlos and his colleagues at reception were more than helpful especially when our flights were cancelled due to the French air traffic controllers strike.
Many thanks to all the staff.
Ron and Carol Robertson

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room 106 was a good room.

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of April - which was really out of season as not everything up and running. In season they do animation evenings We had a large apartment with a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice. The apartment was large and had everything you needed except a kettle! We had a few things missing but these were quickly replaced when we told reception. This resort is not really for the less mobile... there are many many steps ... we definitely kept fit for the week. The apartments had wifi but it was very hit and miss! We had a hire car and without this would have felt quite stranded - there is no beach . There is not much around - the resort has a little shop (which was quite expensive - compared to the one up the road) and various restaurants ... italian, tapas, buffet, coffee shop and spa. We took a look at the spa but felt 12 euros expensive for what was there ... it would have been nice to have had this included in with the apartment price .. it may of encouraged us to stay more in the resort than out. We ate in the buffet restaurant and found this to be good value but am not sure you would want to eat here every day as you would tire of the menu. Overall an enjoyable stay but probably too remote to ever return again.

Room Tip: Cliff view would be nice if not pool view rooms

Dear Customer;

We are happy that you found the apartment large and the views from the balcony nice. Kettles are available for all the customers, but you need to ask for it in Reception. With the Golf buggy we are happy to ride everybody the hill up to the apartments, so it is no problem for older customers. Here, in the Resort, we just have cliff, but you can find a beach about 2.5km from the Resort, named Cala Lanuza.
The Wi-Fi is a service which is included in the apartments, we are sorry that is a bit slow… this normally happens in the weekends, when we are fully booked and everybody connects on same time, but we are already surging for a better service for the Wi-Fi.

Would be nice to see you again, best regards
