The Bialy Dwor is in a very picturesque location at the edge of the forest, and restoration of this historic building and grounds was very well done. My room was clean and comfortable, but probably smaller than average since I arrived late and most of the rooms had been booked for a local family event. Despite this, my room was quiet and everything was perfectly functional. As is the case in most such facilities, there is no air conditioning and the windows do not have screens. Opening the window at night down brought in some mosquitos, so be prepared for that, if the weather is warm. There are a couple of options for dining (on the patio, in the dining room, or in the bar), and the food is excellent. If you are looking for a quiet, scenic, historic location in the country, the Bialy Dwor would be an excellent choice. However, if you want to see the local tourist sites in Kwidzyn, Malbork, etc., then you'll need to have the hotel arrange a taxi if you don't have your own car.

Room Tip: Rooms range in size from small single rooms up to large apartments. Be sure to ask about room options and locations, especially if the hotel is planning to host a local "event" while you are there.

Whether you are wanting to relax or if you are under the weather, they are the most adorable people. They will love and take care of you. Out in the country, but oh what a find with comfort, nice walks, great people and the most delicious food you will ever taste. And...being sick, I felt like I was at my grandmother's home and being loved so much.

Particularly suitable for those traveling by car to the world famous castle of Marienburg. No need to stop at one of Malbork city’s hotels, miserably ranked by most reviewers. The outstanding Biały Dwór is only 31 km from the castle. You’ll stay in a historic manor at the edge of the forest among picturesque meadows, with a wonderful view from its spacious well-kept garden, at very reasonable price. Charming antique furniture in the hallways and restaurant, well-equipped and immaculately clean bathroom, comfortable bed, genuine sincere hospitality of the staff altogether create an exquisite sense of coziness. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and diversity of their breakfast as well as tasty and authentic polish cuisine at lunch/dinner time.
It’s worth to visit nearby Kwidzyn to see another well preserved brick stronghold with the most impressive 54-m latrine tower. And I strongly advise to cross the Vistula River by an old-fashioned cable car-ferry (free).
And now a fly in the ointment. The only shortcoming of this charming hotel is the common bane of such places: weddings, anniversaries and other kinds of celebrations. Unfortunately, it happened to us twice a day. It was not a harmful obstacle for us, but if you too do not mind the noise, at least ask for a room on the “right” side.

Room Tip: Pay attention to a possible noise from the restaurant
