We stayed at this hotel for three nights during the popular Semana Santa (Easter week), when the hotel offered a package with 3 meals/day included in the price of lodging. Rooms are large, simple, and clean with large, comfy beds, and there's a big swimming pool that's quite nice. However, the food was mediocre and the restaurant service was terrible. Despite having plenty of waitstaff and serving the same meal to everyone with no choice of entree, they were disorganized and inattentive to the point of rudeness: sometimes it took over 45 minutes or longer for them to serve the food, which was lukewarm or cold upon arrival -- and the appetizer frequently came after the entree. While we were waiting, it was difficult even to get served drinks, which could also take half an hour for a pitcher of lemonade, with no concern or apologies for the delay. They might do somewhat better with service off-season, but hard to tell. High-volume cumbia, rock, and reggaeton on speakers throughout the grounds in the afternoon and early evening also didn't make for a relaxing atmosphere - the music would have been better confined to the restaurant/pool area at a lower volume rather than blasting near the cabins.
