“Fabulous mid-week mini-break with 4 children age 7-11”
Reviewed August 24, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A super, quintessentially English, cottage situated in the heart of a chocolate box village. The front door opens straight out onto the village green and the back door on to a beautifully manicured garden housing an enormous trampoline at the bottom. The kitchen, indeed the whole house, is very well stocked and there are plenty of essentials (towels, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc) to last for the duration of your stay). Glyn, the owner, kept in touch and was a super source of local information and suggestions for days out. Despite some great recommendations, all our children wanted to do was paddle and play in the stream outside!! Would highly recommend.

Lovely location with good views. Great comfortable cottage for a weekend away. Glyn the owner made contact on our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Lots of parking and big gardens.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed June 28, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The cottage is in a great spot in the heart of the Yorkshire Moors and is well equipped with everything you would need for a family holiday. Good for walking and sight seeing and it has been perfect for a weekend break. We all enjoyed the sheltered garden where we enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner. I would recommend the cottage.

A lovely cottage which easily accommodated 7.
Beautiful village. Lovely tea rooms. Central for adventures to Blakey and Pickering.
Super garden and the trampoline brought out the kids in us.
Highly recommended and hope to return.

“Peaceful”
Reviewed June 24, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Lovely peaceful, comfortable cottage, had everything we wanted in a beautiful situation. We had wall to wall sunshine while we were there so spent most of our evenings sat in the garden watching the wildlife, or sat outside the pub opposite watching the sheep. Has parking round the back for about 3 -4 cars which was very handy as parking is quite restricted round the front. Very relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the world. Loved this cottage and wish we could have stayed longer, we will return one day. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our ling weekend at Sunnyside was very enjoyable. Beautiful cottage with an amazing garden. Everything you needed was available. Glyn rang to make sure everything was okay when we arrived. Would highly recommend a stay at Sunnyside, just wish we could have stayed longer so we could appreciate the garden more. Will have to make a return visit :)
