Owner description: Limegrove, located in Holetown, is the best place to shop in Barbados. This signature location is a treasure trove of duty-free jewellery, apparel and accessories, and features more than 100 of the world's best fashion brands. Stores at Limegrove include Burberry, Cartier, HUGO BOSS, Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, M•A•C, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. Some of the best restaurants in Barbados are also located here, along with trendy bars and cafes. Dubbed by London's "Daily Telgraph" as "the most stylish place to shop and dine" in Barbados, Limegrove is conveniently located near hotels on the island's West Coast. Limegrove - thanks for its air con.. makes shopping a dream. With Ralph Lauren ( almost always on sale) , Agent Provocateur, and many others is a great place. For the most divine Kaftans and super Stylish beachwear don't forget to go to Beth and Tracie across the road or walk a little further into Holetown to the ' Chattle Shops' for more shopping action. Also lots of restaurants on First and Second Street right across the road.

I have been visiting Barbados for the last fifteen years, based in St James, and up until last year had had to go to the Sheraton Centre or Bridgetown to visit the Cinema. The new complex is fantastic, modern and based on US-style Cinemas (air-conditioned, luxurious seats, reasonably priced refreshments). The play-list is also contemporaneous and popular and works well with the HD/Dolby system. The cinema is supported by a elite line-up of Shops (predominantly Swiss watch brands).

Lime Grove Shopping Holetown is a great place to shop but more for the luxury and expensive items, not necessarily for tourist wanting to buy souvenirs. Louis Vuitton, Cartier, etc duty free prices but still expensive for your average tourist I think, but if you have plenty of money and you what to spend then this is the place. There is car parking available. You can enjoy a nice glass of wine or coffee and cakes or ice cream and lots of little shops in the area

...and have the cash to go with it, then this is the place for you.

We had intended to take the free bus from the hotel but ended up calling in one day when we had a hire car. This ended up better for us as I dont think I'd have wanted to spend 4 hours there (although my wife might have been happy to!).

The centre has a nice feel to it and has impressive water features and flame burners. We didn't try the eating places but mooched around and shopped. It was quiet the day we went (a Tuesday) but that may be because there were no cruise ships in that day (top tip!).

Worth a stop if you are passing by but get back to the beach asap!

I like shopping at Limegrove, there are some excellent outlets.

However the are some things that could be improved.

Owners and staff should park elsewhere (ever heard of a staff car park) as they take all the best parking spaces at the main entrance, leaving customers driving around looking for a parking space, customers first!.

None of the restaurants have high chairs. I've asked several restaurant owner/managers why are there are no high chairs, I just get the standard "sorry we don't".

Maybe its something in the LG retail lease, to discourage kids.

Limegrove are missing a big market, wealthy ladies ( and dads ) that shop and lunch also bring their kids.

If you do have kids, Flindt's have high chairs and they are across the road.
