Having driven past this place hundreds of times and not knowing it was there until I found it on tripadvisor we decided to pay it visit. We parked outside only to find that there is parking at the rear. The restaurant looked empty but that's was because the tables are out back under a massive covered area. The wife mentioned that we had found this via. Trip advisor and from then onwards we seemed to get first class attention. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. We went for breads and lovely onion rings followed by some gorgeous cod and chips. Others had the Maui Maui sandwich blackened which had a bit of a kick.
Desserts are basic but nice. As we left all the staff shook our hands and thanked us which was a nice touch. Will be back.
My only comment would be to have more napkins on the table as your hands get greasy from the starters etch

Recently when planning my return to Barbados after being abscent from the migrating Christmas flock for a few terms,I was excited to hear of the Seacat as a new addition to west coast dining.
I visited with some native birds that like myself have been clucking to go for a while.
We each ordered differently to enjoy a tasting style menu from the wide variety on offer.
A special of seared yellow fin Tuna that was pomegranite red in the centre, succulent and spicy blackened Mahi mahi that I reluctantly shared with the delicious puffs of breadfruit that accompanied. As for lobster tails, tiger shrimp, calamari and ceviche all devoured and served with a friendly Bajan smile and rounded off with a bill that won't leave a bad taste in your mouth!
One things for sure I will be swooping in to grab a perch and enjoy another surprisingly good catch over at the Seacat soon !!

Staff very friendly and let us try bread fruit chips for free! Good rum punch! Nice selection of fish. Puddings let them down unfortunately. We only visited once as so many other places to try.

This place was just a stones throw from our hotel so we drifted in early in the holiday when we were still tired. We got a really lovely reception and the atmosphere was very homely early on a Tuesday night.

Food was excellent - proper calamari and awesome surf n turf. Can't recommend strongly enough. There were enough groups of friends around the place that it felt like it was popular with locals and not just a tourist haunt.

As per other reviews this is a great restaurant. The fish was fantastic, my wife had the Tuna special and it was a generous size, melted in the mouth. Mine was mahi also beautifully Cooked and not messed with by a "fine dining" chef. Very reasonable pricing and more traditional Bajan rather than the trend of London style restuarants that are taking over the west coast.

Staff very friendly, well done
