Fabulous all inclusive. Food great, mainly off a la carte menu, Buffett for breakfast. Great drinks, all premium brands. Good management which always helps! Staff very nice & attentive, waterspouts excellent, beach on the small side BUT grab a hire car & find your own special spot....we loved Gibbs Bay...beautiful. The hotel give you a cool bag with packed lunch if you fancy days out. We would definitely return.

We have stayed in 6 other Barbados hotels previously, and this comes top overall. Loved the location, central for exploring, food very good, small but friendly hotel. Service excellent but was only very good when hotel got busy later in the week ! (Rochelle & Sherice shone) Dwayne behind bar very receptive, knew your tipple & when you wanted a refill! The service was way above our previous experience and the manager does a regular walkabout which is great to see and she asks how your holiday is!

The beach is very small in front of the hotel so there are not many beds there,it felt slightly crowded when the hotel was full but the sea conditions were unusually rough so that would have contributed. If you want a big stretch of sand in front of your hotel you won't find it here but literally just around the bend there is a wider beach.

We met the hotel owner Peter at the horse races ( a charming man), the 20/20 cricket, rode horses on the beach,(steve's stables) and had a wonderful relaxing time here in between activities. Get out and see the island, always something new to see.Go on a day trip to the Grenadines, not cheap but brilliant!

Suits young families, retired, couples. Don't think you can go wrong, recommended!

We will be back!

Room Tip: Get an ocean view room!

I have just returned from a holiday to Mango Bay Hotel on 10th April having travelled to Barbados with my husband, daughter, son and his girlfriend. We had three lovely deluxe rooms which were on the ground floor facing the sea. The beds were really comfortable. This was a lovely hotel based on the beach.

The food was excellent and the staff worked extremely hard to keep everyone happy, especially my son who is vegetarian. The chef often cooked him food on request if he did not see anything on the menu he fancied.

The weather was great, hot and sunny most of the time with only a few showers which cleared up quickly.

My only criticism would be that the entertainment was not to my taste. As the hotel has quite small grounds and the live music took place outside the restaurant, we had no choice but to listen to whatever was taking place (it was especially close to our rooms.) Fortunately, the entertainment stopped at 11pm so it was not too much of a hardship! Other guests seemed to enjoy it so it is all about taste.

Overall, an excellent holiday and a very well run hotel.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms facing the sea are lovely but very close to evening entertainment so noise could be a problem if you want to sleep early. However, the entertainment stopped at 11pm.

We stayed at Mango Bay for one week (after one weeks cruise) - 1st - 8th April. We had a fantastic time there, due to Shireene and her fab staff, location and facilities. It was our first time in the Caribbean and it lived up to our expectations. The hotel was modern and clean, fab position sitting straight on the beach, the food great (even for our 14 year old daughter!!) and wine good (Rondelle and his rum punches were superb!). It was very friendly (I had a very nice hug from Cindy Ann when leaving). The entertainment was just right and we also experienced entertainment from the sea having had a swell for a few days - the hotel staff made sure our holiday wouldn't be spoilt due to this. The only problem we though we would have was at the beginning - the noise from the local bars (we were told everything and we were expecting to be kept awake on our first night - Sunday, but the air conditioning must have blocked out all the noise as we heard nothing once we closed our door!). We are hoping to visit next year for the two weeks, as one week wasn't enough!.. Thanks to everyone at Mango Bay for making our holiday quite heavenly... and we've started saving up!!!

This was our second visit to the Mango Bay. We returned on the 1.4.12. after a seven day
cruise. Once again we could not fault the friendliness, kindness and good manners of the
staff. We booked a superior room which was clean, comfortable and quiet.
I would like to mention how nice it is to see a hotel Manager (Shireene) take the time and
trouble to speak to as many guests as possible.
Looking forward to another visit in the future.
