This is an excellent to place to stay. Wonderful accommodation, wonderful food and the most wonderful staff. The gardens are beautiful and the weekly garden tour is well worth booking. Evening entertainment was also very good. If you stay on site during the day you have the choice of loungers on the beach, by the pool or in the gardens. There are also a variety of water sports to try out and also a tennis court.
The hotel is only a 10/15 min walk from Holetown and Chattell village. St James Parich Church is 5 mins walk away and well worth a visit. We were well impressed and hope to visit again next year.

Room tip: We took a luxury junior suite with which we were very satisfied. It overlooked the main pool.

Best avoid the Coral Reef Hotel if you want a pleasant lunch. Although there was hardly anyone in the bar / terrace area we were served by several waiters all with bad attitude. The food is at best mediocre but the service was appalling. Lunch here is not cheap 140 bds for club sandwich, tomatoes and mosarella salad , bottle still water , glass of processo and a mock tail.
Pity the management haven’t sorted this out . Same thing two years ago .
Ah well spend your dosh elsewhere!!

Coral Reef Club is the place to stay in Barbados! It really is a classy hotel, in gorgeous grounds next to the beach and a perfect location to visit Holetown by a 5 minute walk. From the moment we arrived the staff throughout the hotel provided an outstanding service. Even at our point of departure, the owner Mrs O'Hara came to wish us goodbye and to seek thoughts of our first visit - we confirmed that plans for our return in 2020 was underway!
Each day we played tennis and received coaching from the superb Jim Matthews. His experience was a great help and picked up numerous tips for improvement. His methods and manner was perfect!

Room tip: Book early to avoid disappointment!
