I first visited Barbados in 1990 and stayed in sunset crest. The Beach House was then called the Beach Club and it was the centre of activity in the Holetown area day and night. Since then it has had various names and is now the Beach House. It has been renovated a lot and the layout is much different. We booked before we arrived on the island. We booked the sunset menu for 5pm. When we arrived they had our booking. The staff were friendly but not exactly effusive or overly welcoming. The place was very quiet and was a mixture of people having a drink and some having a snack. Only one table was taken in the restaurant area. The tables are on a decked area overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The setting is spectacular and watching the sunset is worth a visit. The food was nice but a wee bit overpriced. It was still not busy when we left around 7pm. It has the potential to be a lively place in a great location. It is worth a visit for food or even just a drink.

Visited with my husband for lunch and weren't disappointed! Sat overlooking the sea and enjoyed coconut shrimp followed Caesar Salad with shrimp and my husband loved his seafood soup that appeared to contain half a ton of fish followed by more fish - Mahi Maki grilled to perfection! If you love your fresh fish and are looking for an idyllic spot for lunch this is a must.

lovely location, reasonable prices, service is ok, not great. Food itself is ok. was very , very hot the evening we went and they did not have all the fans working , which would have helped tremendously.

We went to this restaurant last night. Started with great drink at the bar, followed by fantastic meal.
Did not find the price over the top for the quality.
