Beachfront location is idyllic. This place is extraordinarily family friendly - food the kids will love (nice pizzas & ice creams etc), and a great selection for the grown ups plus its reasonably priced. Kids can play on the beach in front of you while you take your time over your coffees. There's a lunch & a dinner menu. We booked a dinner table for about 6.00 - 6.30pm (to watch the sunset which is around 6.15pm in Barbados in August) and we were delighted - beautiful sunset - even the children (aged 6, 7 and 10 appreciated its beauty!). The staff are very friendly. There's a car park if you're driving, if not its on the main road opposite the Super Centre shopping mall.
If you go during the day there is one or two licensed sellers on the beach in front of zaccios - only jewellery & not at all pushy, just friendly guys making a living, no obligations, we bought a shell bracelet for our 10 year old for 15 Barbados dollars (about £5). Zaccios also has an enclosed swimming area & we got caught in the middle of a shoal of flying fish - kids were delighted to see them so close up! WOW is all I can say - a memory to treasure!
There's a few boats on the beach in front of zaccios - which you can hire privately for trips - quite reasonably judging on what we heard from other tourists. We chose not to do a boat trip tho as hubby not keen on boats!
Its not just the amazin location that makes this place good though - the food is good too - fresh & good quality cooking.
If you're staying in the area you must go there! even if you're staying further away - still go its definitely worth the visit!
