I stayed here for 1 night however we had planed to stay there more . I took the card key from reception then I made mistake , instead of room 212 , I enter 214 , I'd find room not serviced . call to reception and I found this not correct room so Why I could open this room . Then I told to reception and he said they gave me the master card (maid card) , they said "we trust on you and give a master card" . I surprised then I checked again . I could open All room . they give master card to all guests . My wife could not sleep and she had nightmare .
The room was smelly . Shower was broken so I had to took it with hand and took shower . That night so boring . there is nothing to do . TV not Tune .
We left there tomorrow and never came back there .

Hotel 1 was renovated a couple of years ago and is now in acceptable condition. Hotel 2, being built well over 30 years ago, has not been renovated since being launched and is not in very good condition. (The pictures you see on tripadvisor are mostly of Hotel 2)
Same thing said on previous post

If you want to go skiing during daytime and just need a warm, cozy room for resting and a shower (there is no nightlife in Dizin whatsoever!) and also good food for a reasonable price (breakfast for around US$6-US$7 and good meals for below US$15), that’s the place to stay.
Same thing said on previous post

The room amenities include towels, slippers, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste. There is no safe box in the room so keep your valuables close. For around US$70, the double rooms are not bad overall. Wireless internet is available free of charge, but connection is cut off sometimes.

About the food I should say the breakfast is not Arabic style, as I read in another review; it’s actually a very limited buffet-type breakfast. You can also get Iranian style breakfast which is mainly made up of tea, Iranian bread, butter, Iranian Cheese (Feta or “Panir Tabrizi”), and eggs. The breakfast quality is good, but the meals are a different experience; there is a wide variety of Iranian dishes on the menu. The kebabs (barbeques) are very good. Make sure to try the sour kebab (“Kabab Torsh”) with rice which is just great. Also try their processed olives, they are fantastic.

The limited buffet breakfast consisting of corn falkes and milk is actually a bonus addition to the full arabic/Iranian breakfast which is the same all over: tea, boiled eggs, arabic bread, olives and cheese (feta or Panir Tabrizi).
Thanks for elaborating on the arabic breakfast.

Stayed here with children, 3, 5 and 7 for 2 nights. This review will only cover the hotel. I will also write a reveiw for the skiing under dizin.
There are 2 hotels at dizin. Dizin Yek (One) is on the left and Dizin Doe (Two) is on the right. Several chalets are to the right of Hotel 2
Reception is at Dizin 1 which has recently been renovated and is essentialy a new hotel. Some of the staff at reception speak english and are quite helpful.
The rates for locals and foreigners are supposed to be the same. They tried to charge me more but quickly backed down when I challenged the rate. Finding out the rates was very difficult. If you can read Farsi www.ittc.com apparently has the rates for Dizin. Travel agencies charge much much more even though they swear that they are not inflated. So with that said here are the offical rates (assuming 10,000 rials = 1 USD):
Double $70
Triple $90
4 bed $105
5 bed $120
6 bed $170
10 bed $280
Suit $243
2 bedroom chalet ( sleeps 4/5) $215
Booking is another matter. This can be done from the ittc website or by phoning the hotel (see dizin review). Either way, it is much easier if you can or know someone who speaks farsi.
As I said previously Hotel 1 has been favourably renovated. The heating is perfect and not at all stuffy. Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided by the ittc. Breakfast is available in the restaurant (not included in the rate) for $6 p/p and is the usual arabic style of boiled eggs, arabic bread etc. Try the carrot jam for something different. The restaurant also serves dinner (and lunch). The quality is good and prices cheap.
Hotel 1 also has one internet teminal and free wireless (no password necessary) for those with laptops. The speed is fine but the connection is intermittent so make use of it when you can.
On the other hand Hotel 2 has not been renovated (yet) and is understandably looking shabby after 30 years of use. There is a coffee shop in Hotel 2 which is the focal point for the limited (if any) nightlife of Dizin. It is run by the same guy who runs the 'snack bar' on the slopes. But is it pretty much byo entertainment. I suggest bringing a board game or cards which are perfect for this environment.
Hotel 2 has another advantage in that you can ski to the door. You have to take your skis off and walk from the slopes to Hotel 1. In summary, for less than $100 per night its pretty good value for a hotel a stones throw from the slopes.
Hotel 1: 4 stars
Hotel 2: 2 stars

We made the mistake of staying here for 4 nights in December 2007. Apart from the skiing there is NOTHING to do in this hotel. The slopes close at 4pm. If you want to eat the restaurant is only open at certain times. The room was dated and dusty and I had an allergic reaction to it, I couldn't stop sneezing. The 'extra bed' for our son consisted of a couple of sheets on the floor. If you really want to ski in Dizin, which is a good experience, make it a day trip or stay in the chalets here. We had a look at them and they were much better. Of course, bring plenty of your own food and entertainment for apres ski.
