We stayed here for 2 nights over the August Bank Holiday in 2012. Our room was on the first floor and was a decent size with adequate storage space, 2 comfortable bedroom chairs and a digital tv. The view from our window was of the rooftop of another building though we could see the sea if we looked out of the bathroom window. Basic toiletries were provided. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual cereals and a choice of kippers, eggs on toast or full English. We opted for full English. It was adequate for our needs but I've had better elsewhere. Service in the restaurant was good and we were greeted immediately on our arrival on both occasions. The menu said breakfast was £7.50 but this was presumably for non-residents as it was included in the room price. There are a couple of very comfortable lounges for guests. When we came to check out we were asked for the full rate (£82.50 per night) but I queried it and as I had my booking.com confirmation with me it was changed immediately without any fuss. Whether there would have been a problem if I hadn't had my confirmation with me I don't know but I'm glad I did. Would I stay there again? Yes, if visiting the area. However, as I found the area to be extremely boring without anything to recommend it I don't think that occasion will arise.
