Having booked for 2 double HOTEL rooms at this place, we arrived at 4pm only to find place completely empty everyone having gone to a funeral. Supposed to open at 4.30pm. We returned at 4.50 to find a young lady,a young chef and 2 older people none of which seemed to know what they were doing. My friends looked at the rooms which the hotel were offering only to find that they were studios, complete with cooker and pull out of the wall beds which were about 6 inches from the floor (note NOT HOTEL ROOMS) I am disabled and this was totally unacceptable to me. They showed them another room which was a 1 bedroomed apartment with the toilet on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs, again totally unsuitable for me. We were
told there were no hotel rooms as such only what they had shown us. We then proceeded to find a hotel in the area who did have 2 double hotel rooms (and very nice they were too). On returning to above hotel on the Monday when the 'boss' was there, she refused to give us a letter to say that we had not stayed there so that we could get a refund from the travel agent, but also commented when being told the rooms weren't suitable because I was disabled that that was not her problem - delightful woman. We also noted that the hotel was devoid of guests - I'm not surprised.
