“Lights out - it's a pleasant place”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

We finished our meal with cell phone lanterns when the power went out for an hour or so during a tropical rain storm. This is an open-air beachside place with palm-thatched roof that leaks a bit. The staff bucked up and kept serving. Our hamburgers and fish dishes were fine, and the staff members were troopers!

“The Lobster Special Was A Great Deal”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

Our party of seven ate at Beachers twice during our one week stay in West Bay. Don't miss the lobster special ($16) on Monday night - 3 tails (3 to 4 ounces each) with mashed potatoes and a very good garden salad with lettuce, tomatoes and green peppers. All four adults in our party ordered the lobster and were quite satisfied. We returned to Beachers on Friday night and ordered various entrees including garlic shrimp, Coconut shrimp, Jalapeno cheeseburger and fish (Snapper) sandwich. The shrimp dinners came with 8 large ones, plus choice of two sides ($13). Everyone was happy with the quality and quantity of food. Happy Hour from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. - many drinks, including Margaritas and Pina Coladas were two for one (around $3.50 each). Parking behind Beachers is a little hard to find, off West Bay Road.

“The go to restaurant in West Bay”
Reviewed January 12, 2014 via mobile

We came in for their 2 for 1 drink specials and were pretty impressed. We got 2 piña coladas for $7 and they were great drinks. I love that it is a family run business, and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He told us about the lobster dinner special on Mondays so we came back for that. The lobster special included three big lobster tails, mashed potatoes, and salad for only $16! It was the best dinner I had the whole trip. Come early because the place was packed! Watch your bill at every restaurant in Roatan because they seem to always add the service charge. The server told me to pay with exact change because he had no change to give me. I thought it was kind of odd when they had a restaurant packed full of people but luckily I had it. We ate here for dinner again on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded. The fish sandwich was great and I was impressed that all the appetizers came with French fries. Plus you can't beat the FREE wifi!!!

“Awesome place for a drink and bite to eat!”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

We stopped into beachers a couple of times while on our vacation. We had a couple drinks the first time, then came back for lunch and returned for a live band - it is a fun place right on the beach.
