“Great fun at the Thirsty Turtle!”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

We were fortunate to be staying at Bananarama & were able to enjoy the Thirsty Turtle on a daily basis. Great food with reasonable prices, simple & delicious....the fun would start in the evening. The best New Years celebration ever!!!!!! So much fun. We counted in the New Year with feet in the water with hundreds of others singing, cheering, laughing and dancing....a truly memorable experience. The karaoke a few days later was equally as fun....and I am NOT a karaoke person! So much fun....I think my voice is still hoarse. Super place.

“Great Food, Service Staff Excellent”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

We had stopped there for lunch a few days before New Year's Eve and it was very good. Being on Island Time we forgot about New Year's Eve. We headed there and was seated and at first the server (Albert) had mentioned that the kitchen was closed as they were preparing all the goodies for the New Year's Eve Buffet. The buffet did not offer any vegetarian options, so we figured we would have a few drinks and then move to another place.
In the interim, our server talked with the manager and had the kitchen reopened so that we could have a couple veggie meals. Needless to say we did not have to go find antoher place to eat.
This was fantastic, we were able to enjoy the buffet as well as have veggie meal.
Their drinks were fantastic, not usually into sweet drinks but you gotta try the Banana Split.

Will definitely return to this place.
