Went here for lunch because we were staying at Bananarama/Island Pearl and wanted to check it out because it was only a quick 5 minute walk from the resort property. We had the Baleada's which are basically like big soft tacos. They have a few different choices for the Baleada's including steak, chicken, lobster, shrimp, grouper, pulled pork, and I believe a vegetarian. I wanted one with steak but they didn't have any steak that day so I got chicken and my wife ordered the grouper. Both were very good! Freshly made with just the right amount of ingredients! Also we had a parrot drop our of nowhere and he joined us for lunch. He crawled up the back of my wife's chair then sat on her shoulder for a while then made his way down her arm and was eating tomatoes scraps from her plate. It was a very good lunch and the bird made it an extra fun time! We will visit them again next time we're in West Bay!

We went to Celestes as we had tasted their offering earlier in the week at the Taste of Roatan (lionfish exhibition) and really enjoyed it. We were the only people in the restaurant. It really is a funky little place, kind of california-hippie vibe, good karma... but wear bug repellent... we ended up getting bit by something!
Our server Darrison, couldn't have been more charming. He was probably my favorite server on the island. We had the grouper (not burritos-but burrito-like dish called something else) and a delicious salad. We ordered a bottle of wine, but I am pretty sure that the owner drank a glass of it, not realizing it was ours that Darrison had put in the fridge to chill. We didn't want to ask and embarrass everyone...
The dessert was wonderful... rich vanilla ice cream served with caramelized bananas, sort of like a bananas foster with no alcohol.

right near the hotels, walking distance from the beach, on the road. Food was very good, but we thought the portions were too small for what they charged. This is also a place that offers lodging and they can direct or offer to take you on whatever activities you have in mind.

We had good dinners here both nights we tried it and good conversation with Darson. The shrimp tacos were fresh and declicious and so were the fish tacos. Definitely try the dessert. The handmade margarita, while it was a little slow coming, was worth the wait.

We ate at Celeste's one evening while staying in Roatan. We were in the Grand Roatan which is right down the road, so we walked to Celeste's.
It was a cozy atmosphere, and the food was good. We walked around the property and saw the nice little pool and some of the cabin type lodging.
We would return!
