JavaVine Internet Cafe, Wine Bar & Lounge is located in West Bay Mall, just a short walk from beautiful West Bay Beach, on the island of Roatan, Honduras. We specialize in great coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte and frappuccino, fresh fruit smoothies, beer, spirits, and a selection of over 20 delectable wines. Our delicious Menu includes a selection of pastries and snacks such as bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, banana bread, carrot cake and wraps or ciabatta sandwiches, as well as GOURMET PIZZA, light evening Tapas and other weekly special selections such as homemade chicken noodle soup, chili, lasagna, and burgers! History JavaVine was purchased as a turn-key business on April 4th 2011, when it had previously been operating for 4 years as the Cool Beans Coffee House. The new owners, Wyonna & Quentin (with their now infamous schnauzer Jasper, who can be seen almost daily swimming in the ocean along West Bay Beach), finished a 3 1/2 week renovation in February 2012, and re-opened with a brand new look, an expanded menu, and extended hours to include a cool new Wine Bar & Lounge with light Tapas, in a chill, relaxed environment with soothing tunes. It was at that time the coffee shop became known as JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar!

“Best wine on the island!”

Second year in Roatan and the Java Vine is one of our favorite spots. Relaxing atmosphere, great staff, amazing wine and great food. It's kind of like the "Cheers" of West Bay Beach! The pizza is a must! The bakery items are yummy, especially the cinnamon rolls. Love the iced coffee and did I mention the great wine!

“Good breakfast okay coffee”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We were staying at the banana Rama resort and walked to this place..hardly 5min. This place had good fresh breakfast..the coffee was okay and it got cold by the time our food arrived..but the owner would refill you for a hot coffee. There's free wi-fi here. Couple of more small grocery stores and restaurants located next to this bar. The wine selection looked cool here. Next time we might just try the dinner and wine.

“Good ambiance, coffee, cinnamon rolls”

Good place to grab a cup of coffee and a light breakfast, snack. Cool vibe just off the beach. It worth it to stop in if you want a quick breakfast on the go.

Payed more for a cup of black coffee here than I do at home at quality coffee shops. And the coffee was average. Owner was annoyed that I needed a to go cup......taxi was waiting outside. I understand reducing garbage, but not much of a choice at that point in time.

Gave a tip and there was not even a thank you for the business or acknowledgment.

It's tough to find local establishments in west bay, it's a lot of Canadian and US folks charging North American prices. If you want local food, people, and fair pricing west bay is really not the place.
