History JavaVine was purchased as a turn-key business on April 4th 2011, when it had previously been operating for 4 years as the Cool Beans Coffee House. The new owners, Wyonna & Quentin (with their now infamous schnauzer Jasper, who can be seen almost daily swimming in the ocean along West Bay Beach), finished a 3 1/2 week renovation in February 2012, and re-opened with a brand new look, an expanded menu, and extended hours to include a cool new Wine Bar & Lounge with light Tapas, in a chill, relaxed environment with soothing tunes. It was at that time the coffee shop became known as JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar!

After visiting the beach, my wife and I stopped by quickly for some coffee and a quick snack. We thought this place was great. Good coffee and excellent chocolate chip banana bread! The shop is owned by a friendly Canadian women.

“A must stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

My friends and I were attracted to the idea of a coffee shop and wine bar in one. We just had to check it out. Well, we immediately found that one of the owners was a woman who we had seen several times on our trip. She definitely mingles and has fun around the town. It was nice to meet this free spirit. We had delicious sandwiches and savory pastries. This is a quaint and cute place to relax. The design feels very clean and upscale, yet the atmosphere is casual.

“The place to be on Roatan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

An upscale home away from home with lots of yummy eats and great coffee treats topped off by the owners Wyonna and Q who immediately felt like long-time friends. Sampled the Garlic Baked Brie, Spring Rolls, Cinnamon Roll, Homemade Chocolate Chip cookies, Iced Coffee and Coconut Frappacino...all terrific. A must for Roatan visit... leave a few hours to enjoy it all. Thanks W & Q

“Coffee that big green giant can learn from”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

We enjoyed our coffee and fruit smoothies in the morning while we stayed in the neighborhood. My wife loved their iced coffee's, and it became a must almost.

The atmosphere in the cafe is a mix of island style, with some quiet comfy area's to sit, and enjoy your coffee, croissants, or other cakes, danish etc. A nice fusion with the later in the day wine crowd makes this a wonderful place to just hang and relax while sipping on your chocolate iced coffee, or your vino, or maybe both !
