JavaVine Internet Cafe, Wine Bar & Lounge is located in West Bay Mall, just a short walk from beautiful West Bay Beach, on the island of Roatan, Honduras. We specialize in great coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte and frappuccino, fresh fruit smoothies, beer, spirits, and a selection of over 20 delectable wines. Indulge in our offerings while surfing the 'net on our FREE wi-fi, or simply hang out with some friends, or chat with our friendly staff! Come sip some Wine at JavaVine!!! History JavaVine was purchased as a turn-key business on April 4th 2011, when it had previously been operating for 4 years as the Cool Beans Coffee House. The new owners, Wyonna & Quentin (with their now infamous schnauzer Jasper, who can be seen almost daily swimming in the ocean along West Bay Beach), finished a 3 1/2 week renovation in February 2012, and re-opened with a brand new look, an expanded menu, and extended hours to include a cool new Wine Bar & Lounge with light Tapas, in a chill, relaxed environment with soothing tunes. It was at that time the coffee shop became known as JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar!

“Good Coffee”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

I go to Java Vine (Cool Beans) almost every day, the coffee is always fresh and rich in taste. It is possibly the best coffee in Roatan, with great food and service. this gem is located in a little strip mall in West Bay Beach, it is nicely decorated and you can sit outdoors and enjoy the cool breeze and swaying palm trees... that are plenty full, unless you are blind!!!

“Peaceful Comfortable Atmosphere - with great wine and coffee”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

After spending 2 weeks in Roatan, Java Vine became almost a daily experience. It is a comfortable environment with friendly service. We had quality food and a delicious cheese and wine menu. Will definitely make Java Vine a destination when we visit the island next time.

“Unexciting”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Located in a small strip mall, this venue is neat, clean & modern. For a cafe located in the tropics, not a palm tree in sight.

The coffee, however, was sub par the day we visited. My expresso was thin & tasteless & my companion's cappuccino was a little better, but not much. The coffee beans were stale and the lady at the machine needed a little more practice.
