Vintage Pearl is hands down, the best place to dine in Roatan! We ate here 3 times during our week long stay. (Sunday brunch, lunch and a special dinner with friends) The menu changes daily and is a culinary delight! From Kobe beef steak and eggs for brunch that my husband stated was the best he had ever eaten, to large twin lobster tails cooked to perfection by Chef Ben and Erica in the kitchen. We had lobster two other times on the island and no one even came close to the Vintage Pearl's. The wine was fantastic as was the intimate atmosphere. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner one night with a couple of our dear friends and everyone in our party absolutely loved the whole experience. Angela, Deana and the inventive Chef Ben made our evening unforgettable. While this is fine dining at it's best...you still get the island vibe with the barefoot rule and super friendly, easy going staff. Hosts Terry and Angela made us feel welcome as if we were old friends! We'll miss this place, now that we are back home...but we won't ever forget it and we hope to return again someday! PS - the Vintage Pearl is attached to the Island Pearl & Bananarama Resort if you are looking for a great place to stay while in the West Bay.

We read a food blog about the restaurant and decided to give it a try. Live music, cozy shoe-free interior and great service greeted us. The food? Wow! The lobster bisque is delicious, the salad dressings are light and flavorful and the main courses diverse. The lobster and filet combination were perfectly cooked. The shrimp scampi with Brie risotto was lovely and rich and the lamb chops perfectly grilled and seasoned. The wine list is affordable and the special drinks well done. The only thing which could improve is the desserts. The apple streudel was barely warm and just average and the chocolate banana bread pudding would have been much better without the chocolate. Very intimate and romantic experience.

Vintage Pearl is a fantastic restaurant, with a good wine list and a careful kitchen. The food menu is verbal (which is fun for a change) and has a nice variety of high-end choices, meat and fish. This is a place where you'll be treating yourself -- save it for the night you budgeted a fancy meal. The barefoot rule is a nice touch. It actually makes sense, because there's a lot of mud in Roatan, and it gets on shoes. VIntage Pearl is sparkingly clean, and beautifully decorated. Nice quiet atmosphere.
