We visited about 6pm on Sunday night without a booking and managed to get a table. There did not seem a great deal of choice on the menu, it might have been becasue it was Sunday. However we had just called into the Junction beforehand, but they had finished serving for the day.We had the pork and trimmings meal which was good, served with a decent helping of vegetables. The staff were all pleasant and the atmosphere was good.
We were once patrons of the Rams Head in Denshae, but found the staff unpeasant, so this was an extremely nice change, I do not like eating in a strange atmosphere even if the food is good. So the Printers Arms has my vote, the food we had was good and the atmosphere very good. The price was probably just right too.
