After a shaky start with hard avocado which was swapped without question for an alternative, the main course was excellent. I've never had pasta with honey in the sauce before well I have so missed out over the last few years, makes it extremely moreish. The sea bass also highly recommended. Dessert time, very good choice, rich sweet and the perfect end to the meal. The one glaring error was lack of product knowledge amongst the staff, although very polite and helpful when questioned about the food or drink they stumbled.
We asked one waitress what the selection of vegetables were and she said they were difficult to describe.... couldn't answer any questions about the wine, neither could the waiter who poured. The biggest disappointment was the dessert wine, it was definitely past it's best and has left an after taste 12 hours later.
However, despite the few problems we encountered we would definitely eat there again, the food was lovely. It would be great if this review was seen as positive criticism because the errors are relatively easy to iron out.
