I wish we had booked a sea view, but from a very dowdy extremity the hotel is decorated inside to a very high standard. Space is limited but very airy breakfast room with good variety of hot and cold dishes. We booked the apartment for 4 adults but wished the room was larger and the bunk beds were not quite what my 20 something children considered fun! Our double bedded room was lovely though! Bathroom, not very private as door does not meet top and bottom making showers and flushes rather noisy. But access to the beach, prom and local restaurants was great and I would certainly stay there again. Taxi from airport cost 29 euros about 25 mins.

The exterior should not turn you away. This is a very decent hotel. Beautiful family rooms. There is even a protbale PC with freee internet access in your room. Really not far away from centre of Bilbao and right on the beach, if the weather permits.

We stayed here after taking part in the bull run in Pamplona. The hotel was extremely good value and lived up to its high tec name with each room having a complementary lap top and cycling machine. The decor is modern and trendy which i liked and we also took advantage of the free bikes available to borrow from reception.
The only down side was the slightly glum reception staff who didnt seem to like smiling or indeed saying hello from time to time. Apart from this, i would would recommed the hotel highly.

We had a late arrival and a nice greeting at the front desk. We walked to hallways to our room, enjoying the blue lighting and very "disco" feeling. We got into our room and WOW it scream contemporary, and FUN! Great light fixtures, beautiful bedding, gorgeous bathroom, and the best part, a laptop for us to use whenever we needed it in our room. Since we decided not to lug around our laptop this trip, it was a great "extra" and a wonderful way to keep in touch with family in our travels. It was within walking distance of our friends home, and to the metro to travel into central Bilbao. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June. The hotel was not finished at this time, and we were litterally living in a building site.
Interior design of the rooms were quite cool,as a concept, but the workmanship was poorly executed and gave the overall impression of homemade and hasty execution of design ideas. Reception staff was variable from seemingly totally lost and humourless to almost professional and good spirited. Language skills not too good in other languages than Spanish.
The room was supposedly of the superior category with large terrace, but the terraces (as far as we could see) were all the same, overlooking the street and with no furniture whatsoever - and only one chair in the room. We DID however get an extra chair when we asked for it, and dragged them both out on the terrace/veranda (staff seemed baffled about this request).
The room had seaview/beachview - including Bilbao port/industrial view, quite interesting. The renovation had not reached the outdoors obviously, so the veranda had a worn-out look with old fake grass covers on the floor.
Also, when a hotel makes it a feature to have a laptop and internet access in the rooms, the least you would expect is for the laptop to work. As we were only staying for 2 days we could not care less and didn`t notify reception about this.
The room was clean though.
