Visited this week with workmates. Food was absolutely amazing, great choice on the menu.Wine was fantastic, prices really reasonable and the staff were superb. We were recommended to go and although it was a bit of a drive for us to get there it was really worth it. If your in the area, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Thank Fenton G

This is our up-market 'local' - setting is spectacular both inside and out; service excellent and staff charming. Food is well-presented, portions not too large, menu interesting and creative without being overwhelmingly long - and the wine list is incredible requiring an entire book. Taking the above into account, the prices are reasonable. We can't fault it!

excellent antipasti, creative recipes and very well balanced cooking. The decor is pleasant though feels maybe a little to like a wedding reception. Medium high priced but certainly worth it. Nice view from the windows over Sabine valleys.

It was our last day before driving to Fiumicino, so we stopped for lunch at this locanda, located 8 kms off the A1 exit. Don't follow the first sign (as you come off the A1) on the left which takes you through a narrow hilly road. Better to go to Magliano Sabina first, then stay on the left via a roundabout or two, without entering the town itself but keep left for a further 2 kms. It was early when we arrived but we sat in the small sitting room off the restaurant and downloaded our emails on the computer. The whole property (it is a hotel as well) is beautifully kept and the decor is just lovely. The dining room is very elegant and has fabulous views of the hills. The menu is very interesting .... we both had potato and malva (marshmallow - the real plant, nothing to do with the sweets) gnocchi with onion and tomato sauce garnished with shaved pecorino. Just divine. One fillet of ricciola fish, mixed salad and sauteed greens. Another highlight was the selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oils on the shelf from Sabina, Umbria, Tuscany, Liguria, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia, and guests can chose their favourite to dress their salad or whatever dish. We chose Colli Amerini from Umbria. The service from Veronica was friendly and professional. The cost was 45 Euro, we did not have wine due to driving. It is very good value for the quality, the ambience and the obvious love of food and cooking. We would like to go back here and stay for a night or two.

We have travelled the world... we have eaten in the best restaurants of this world...
but THIS PLACE is when heaven comes down to earth, touches us humans and our senses start a journey you have never believed before in your life this could ever happen!
What comes out of this kitchen is the deepest love for the traditions of a region, for the profound knowledge of the highest art of cooking. It´s poetry, it´s music, it´s a variety of colors you have never seen and experienced before! It´s Love!
You literally fly... and when you start your descending to the dessert, your should make sure to have your final approach with a `espresso` down on the lower terrace looking to the countryside around you. Now you know what it feels being an angel in paradise!
