Just spent Oct half term in Amroth and we ate in the Smugglers five nights on the bounce. The staff are all so friendly and always ensure that you have a lovely evening. We have visited Amroth for a number of years spending many happy evenings in the Pirates however the Smugglers has taken visiting Amroth to a whole new level. The food is excellent we worked our way through the menu, every meal was great and cannot be faulted. We loved the Beef and reef, lovely perfectly done steak served with lashings of prawns and the curries were also wonderful. The kids meals are great, the home made chicken nuggets were ordered again and again by our two, although there is plenty of choice. The play area is great and all the kids got on really well together the whole week we were there. The Halloween party night was a real monster occasion which the kids loved. Thanks again to everyone for 5 super nights look forward to seeing you all again next year. Highly recommended.

since july we have prob had about 6 meals here mainly celebrating birthdays, they,re happy enough to allow you to bring in a cake and have also put up their own bday banners , great food lots of it, and very reasonable. their onion rings are a must. the kids play area is great just keeping the kids at the table long enough to eat is the only problem

We went for a birthday meal and it was great for us all, we consisted of a family with 2 children, a young couple and the grandparents!!
We all enjoyed it and although they have the children's play area we did think the food wasn't going to be very good but to be honest it was fab, much better than most other pubs!!!
The food was excellent standard the kids enjoyed themselves to run around the play area and the staff was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
An all round great evening out for all the family, def going back!

We were trying to decide where to eat when my father-in-law spotted a little notice on the chalk board stating that there was a play area inside. With two little boys, the decision was made! The play area is fantastic- an amazing set up with a pirate ship and lots more! The food was really tasty and very reasonably priced too. The children's menu had a great choice and I found the vegetarian selection brilliant. We had a lovely meal and even went back the next day!
