First of all, you really have to love camping when you go to Les Sablons.
We are no campers but we rented a Chalet Etang as we have been advised by friends about this club. Moreover, we read the very good review about it. Still do not understand why.
The Chalet was very small and old. The view was terrible. Instead of grass and palmtrees we just had a lot of dirt in front of our chalet. (I attached a photo)

The pool has some very stupid rules. First time in my live I couldn't swim with my Shorts!

We booked and paid 3 nights but left after the first night.

For hardcore campers this might be a good place... for all the others I suggest to stay away from Les Sablons.

In mid May myself ,husband, 8 year old and 2 year old stayed at Les Sablon for 10 days. We had a wonderful time experiencing an active European lifestyle. We rented bikes from the really helpful KeyCamp rep Ali (which came with carrier for our little one and infant seat). We spend a lot of days cycling to Canal du Midi which was very close. We also cycled around the park and Portiragne. I didn't even think I could still cycle!! We stayed in a Vivaldi Al Fresco caravan. It was extremely spacious compared to the cheaper caravans we saw. I think it would be worth spending a little more to rent one. The kitchen area was spotless with brand new cooker. The rooms were really nice and nicely decorated. As we traveled in May the park wasn't too busy which I liked. There were 3 play parks for the kids, large pools. Lots of activities for the children including pottery for adults too. I really enjoyed the dance classes!
I would say however that the on site shop was really pricey so go prepared (especially with nappies as they were way too much!). Charcoal for the BBQ was also pricey so find that elsewhere. The nearest supermarket was a 30 min ride by bike but it was a really scenic journey.
The entertainment was the good and my 2 year old became addicted to the mini disco.
All in all don't expect luxury going to a caravan park but we had a great time on a cheap deal!

Room Tip: Pay a bit more and get a bigger caravan

Fabulous holiday with our two toddlers (aged 2 &18months). We arrived on site to find our fabulous vista home home fully kitted out. We were far enough away from the main centre to have enough peace for the children and then to not be too far away either. There was something different to do every day. There were 3 playgrounds on site and the pool area was brilliant for them. The mini kids camps were great if we needed extra entertainment for them. There is a bakery on site and was fab to walk up every morning and get fresh bread.

For the adults - we had so much to do. There was a pool for lane swimming and a canal close by for cycling and running. We both really enjoyed it.

we booked with Keycamp from 27th may to 7th June, it was very windy and quite cool for the 1st week, however I believe this was not usual for the time of year, the 2nd week the temperatures picked up and it was nice and sunny. We stayed in a vista, my 1st impression was not quite as I had expected, I thought it would be a little more luxiourious than it turned out to be, however it was adequate for what we needed. I do think the keycamp vans are pitched close together, there certainly could be scope to improve the layout. The facilities in the site were excellent, the pool area was extremely clean and well supervised by the staff, the childrens mini club and play areas were also very good. We hired bikes through keycamp and found these a good way to explore the local area, overall we had a fun and relaxing holiday and would definately return to les sablon

Les Sablons is right on a sandy beach and close to Beziers airport. It’s tidy, well organised and well run. Good pools, 2 fun water slides, mini-market, greengrocers etc. Etc. So why does it only score roughly 8.2 out of 10 in ratings. Well, in May, when we travelled the weather for half term was not great, but that’s not their fault. The sea is still numbingly cold, again not their fault. It is clear to see that in July/August this place takes on too many guests. Many of the mobile homes are pitched far too close together. Unnecessary in my view. With the large amount of spaces available for independent caravans, tents etc Les Sablons would be way over a capacity to make for an enjoyable stay. I guess it’s done to cash in on the peak season but as much as I liked the place, even with its naffer than the usual naff entertainment I wouldn’t go in August.

Room Tip: Avoid Keycamp. Pitches are very close together.

We really enjoyed a 3 day stay here. The caravan was clean and tidy and was situated amongst really tall trees which were really beautiful. the childrens park and toddler pool were fab and my daughter really enjoyed them.
The onsite restaurant served beautiful food and wine and the service was second to none.
The beach was a short walk from the site along with a few restaurants.
we went in may so the entertainment was limited. the bar staff were friendly especially Nat.
The onsite shop was very expensive so i would advise to visit the supermarket before you arrive. there is also a bakery that serves fresh baguettes and cakes.
we visited Sete and Agde which were lovely little towns with nice restaurants.
i would definitely return. i just wish we went for longer.
oh and as mentioned in other reviews there are lots of mosquitos so make sure u use repellent in the evenings.

Booked a last minute break at Les Sablons with Thomson al Fresco to escape the snow at home! We flew to Carcassonne with Ryanair then hopped on the train to Beziers, you then need to get a bus up to the bus station (most go this way, 8/16 and €0.50) and then catch bus 112 (from bay 6) and for the tiny sum of €1.50 and a 35 min pleasant bus journey you will be dropped right outside the site. (Taxi is €30-€40)
The site itself is pretty much like all the others along that stretch of the coast. It is clean and tidy with great free activities for adults and children such as pottery, archery, tennis and dance classes. The pool is heated (although not to bath temperature!) and the children loved the slides. The onsite mini club is great and Fay and Marie kept our children entertained for hours!!!
Our caravan was great and the reps helpful as always.
The onsite shop is adequate, a little more expensive than the bigger supermarkets as expected but not extortionate. My husband recommends the local wine from the fruit/veg part!!
The beach is a few minutes walk from the middle of the site, it was extremely quiet while we were there so we enjoyed lots of space and peace!! There are unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes around at this time of year so repellant is a must!
The village is a few minutes walk away from the site and to be honest not really worth the effort of leaving the site, better to get the bus or drive to one of the bigger towns if you fancy a wander. There is apparently a market in the village most days but this does not start until June.
Montpellier is 40 mins from Beziers by train and cost €28 for a family of four, it is a beautiful city with lots to see and do.
Definitely a site we would return to.
