“A fine memory”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

We are back in Sweden from a wonderful time in England, topped by a stay in a faboulous cottage in Ruswarp. Eskmoor Cottage was to us a ”real” English old house. It was very clean and tidy and gave a bright and fresh impression with its white-painted walls. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. It had a cozy TV-room and a bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The house was also well situated for us, we got our breakfasts from the butcher across the street (a must!), the bus stop was 2 minutes’ walk up the road and there was also a path along the railroad tracks wich we used for a 25-minute-walk to Whitby. We were lucky to ser the steemtrain pass then. Eskmoor Cottage was an ideal house for the two of us, but also for a family with children. We truly reckommend it and we will definetly go back to Whitby area and then book Eskmoor Cottage.

Management Response
Mar 15, 2018
We are sorry you found the cottage to be unclean on arrival, this has never happened before and it will be taken up with our cleaner. With regards to the road noise out advert does state we are on a main road therefore a little noise is to be expected but again we rarely have any complaints about this

“Great location/Great holiday”

I've just returned today from 4 nights at Eskmoor Cottage and had a wonderful holiday with the cottage being everything we wanted and more. Great location, very clean and contained everything you would want. The surrounding area was beautiful and had the weather been better we would have sat in the lovely garden but sadly it rained every day. I would love to come back to the area and will look to stay here again next time we visit. Thank you.
