Stayed at the hotel on 23rd Nov for a business function. As I wasn't paying for the room I wasn't expecting a great deal other than the usual standard room. The rooms however are far from standard with large beds, roll top baths, double sinks and large walk in showers.
This is definately a hotel for a great weekend with your other half.
Very good value for money

We enjoyed the 80s Disco night last night. Well organised . We enquired about provision for a gluten free guest, they were superb, labelling all dishes. Really impressed. We'll definately return for another theme night.

If your thinking if a trip out to a steak house then the Rib Room is worth a serious look. Had great service, food fantastic just lacked a hint if atmosphere as not very busy.

Great with a large party, good company or intimate meal.

Everything a hotel should be. Comfortable beds and pillows, super bathroom with huge bath and walk - in shower plus his and her handbasins. Breakfast - nothing too much trouble. Staff smile and are attentive. Reception very pleasant and recognised us from our previous visit, (unusual to say the least).
Peaceful and beautiful grounds.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms to be recommended.

I hardly could believe this was a Best Western. I am used to Best Western hotels in the US and I almost never find this kind of nice hotels.

The hotel is in the middle of a park in an old landhouse. The atmosphere is very nice and the rooms are clean and everything is there even more than needed.

They have a nice bar in the lobby and the restaurant in the basement is very nice. I had a superb T-bone steak. Only negative point for the restaurand is that it is perhaps on the expensive side but not TOO expensive for the quality you get.

The breakfast should start at 6 am and not at 7 am which is too late for business people, but this is the ONLY point to improve.

I was really pleased with this hotel - I had a good double room, with super bathroom and shower. Setting is superb with the park stretching out to the front, which made for a very nice post-breakfast walk. Staff attentive - although considering wehen I visited there were three weddings happening on one day, i can imagine the ordinary guest could get a little side-lined during the really busy wedding season.
Fillet steak at dinner was superb (I had this as room service and only had the 6oz - which the menu refers to as being suitable for the ladies - can't believe anyone would put that on a menu these days!!!!) breakfast was okay, but, I presume because of being busy, this was a buffet and so everything had been "kept" warm, which was not so good - although a poached egg which I requested was cooked promptly and to just right consistency

Room Tip: I had room 409, which is not enormous, but has a lovely bathroom, and has no bedrooms immediately ad...
