Reserved a table of 6 for hubby's birthday. Upon arrival they did not have our reservation and were given attitude by a staff member because we arrived... Finally seated 30 minutes later inside the doors leading to the patios, wait staff continually opened the door banging it into my elbow. Our waiter took forever to take our drink order and one member of our party specifically asked for a non-spicy Caesar. When our drinks arrived 20 mins later, the Caesar was extremely spicy, still had to pay for it and order an alternate drink. We started ordering drinks 2 at a time as it was frustratingly slow. My water never did come after asking three times. (I always order a water to go with my nice glass of wine) The meal took over an hour and a half to come out and I'm totally okay with waiting for a good meal as long as the drinks come out in a timely fashion and the wait staff takes care of you. This was not the case :(
Our meals were adequate although the 6 entrees all came out at different times. The Caesar salads were warm which was a lil odd. After several requests forgotten by our server we were getting frustrated. The final straw was trying to separate the bills for the three couples, apparently our waiter was clueless how to do this. We ended up saying just split it $130 per couple, to which he said he couldn't do it as the bills didn't add up. It would have been easier to go two blocks to the bank machine and pay in cash then wait for the debit machine at the restaurant. Ridiculous.
The wait staff seriously needs some proper training, etiquette and service skills. This is the main reason we haven't returned yet.
The owner Stacey did try to make amends by buying my hubby a scotch for his birthday, but the rest of our group were unimpressed by the earlier wait staff shortcomings.
We will try once more but we're not in a hurry.
