If you like cheese, and the whole Savoyade fondue thing, you'll love this. The Palaiseau locals seem to - it was very busy and I guess you need to book ahead.
Good dinner.

This is a fun place with mountain style decor and well prepared dishes.
There are several innovative combinations of ingredients and all those we tried were delicious
You need to book ahead (particularly around Christmas & New Year) and it can be noisy.
Very good on-line reservation via their website

This is an amazing restaurent in the Paris area. It looks like a Paris area restaurent, but as soon as you go inside you get the feeling that you are in the Alpes just finishing skiing :).
Food is great (Mountain menu or pancakes menu).

We chose this location as it was close to our route from Royan to Zeebrugge and we wanted to spend some time in Paris. La Cabane is the restaurant attached to the hotel Moulin du Lily, we had booked a 2 night stay and ate in the restaurant on the first night. We were surprised how busy the restaurant was as it was a Wednesday night it seemed to be a very popular spot with the locals. The menu was varied and extensive and although it appeared to be mainly savoury pancakes there was a good choice. The meals we had were served with panache and style and were very tasty, it was very apparent why it is popular with the locals. The hotel boasts rooms with either a mountain or seaside theme and the gardens also reflected this with beach huts and cable cars. Our room was a bit on the small side but suited our needs as a stopover on route to Zeebrugge. Overall we thought it was excellent and will return again. The hotel is only 800 mtrs from the train station with a direct line to central Paris approx 30 mins. One word of advice if you are arriving by car you will need a good Sat Nav.

...Then you are at the good address. This restaurant is very surprising in term of design, location and food. Specialities are "montain pancakes" and fondues.
Really one of my favorite restaurant in this area!
