Very pleasant place 20 km (15 miles) south of Paris close to Paris Orly airport along Yvette river.
Restaurant with French Alps specialties located next door. Very nice atmosphere with good food.
Nice outdoor facilities as well when the sun shines!!!

The hotel is pleasant enough. Being a rather surreal "swiss lodge" on the outskirst of Paris certainly gives the place a unique angle! The restaurant was busy, and the food and serve were good. The bedroom was ok too.
My one frustration was the absence of working Wi fi. They apparently have it, but my repeated requests to help me to get it to work were met with an unhelpful "don't know".
Perhaps it's pedantic of me, but these days functioning internet connection is surely as essential as a good bed or a bath, particularly for business clientele and, for that reason, my review is less enthusiastic than it could have been.

This is a very characterful establishment. I had the mid-priced room and it was nice. Spacious for that price too. The bathroom was spotless, rustic looking but with modern fittings and huge with a big bathtub. The only thing was that i wished they had a spare wall socket in the room as the only spare one i could find was in the bathroom and it did not seem particularly safe to be charging electronic devices in a wet bathroom. Do note also that only wired internet access is available but it is free. However, the internet speed seems to be somewhat lagging during 'peak' hours. Also, there are no lift access to the rooms and even staying on the first floor requires one to drag the luggage up the staircase.

The staff were friendly and spoke good English so communication wasn't a problem. The only thing that one may want to take note of is that check-in is at 4pm so if your room has only been recently vacated, you may have to wait till then to check-in.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was interesting as well, serving a variety of crepes and 'alpine' dishes. And it was always fully packed! I recommend trying the cheese fondue, it's abit pricey but worth the experience. Ask for the egg when you are coming to the end of the fondue. For variety, there are also a couple of restaurants in the vicinity that are pretty good too.

The hotel is actually located in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by quaint-looking houses and with a park and river just behind the hotel making it quite nice for one to take strolls around the neighbourhood.

The nearest RER is about 15 minutes walk and do note that it's uphill most of the way. It takes about 30 minutes by train to get to Paris center and i think it costs about 4 Eur one-way.

Arrived late and after restaurant hours (10.30pm) so cant comment on the food other than to say the place looked very busy on a Monday night. I was taken to my room without any fuss (form filling / credit cards etc...) which was most welcome. My room was Deauville and contained a comfortable, if small, double bed - only me on this occasion so it was fine, but could be a little on the small side for a couple. After a pleasant nights sleep breakfast was served in the main restaurant - the selection limited but pleasant. My only gripe is that the internet connection didnt work for me (wired in room) hence the loss of a 'star'.

Knowing that we love cheese, our family in Paris offered us one night's accommodation and fondue dinner at Le Moulin de Lily as a Christmas present. On the outskirts of Paris, the town doesn't look like much as you drive in but once you arrive at the chalet you honestly have no reason to leave. It's as if a mountain cabin has been plucked from the Alps and dropped into the suburbs of Paris and everything from the Alpine decoration to the fluffy bathrobes, spa bath and the friendly service felt so warm and welcoming. The restaurant was fantastic with excellent service and great food and the best part was being able to eat, drink, be merry and only have a short waddle to get 'home' with a belly full of melted cheese. We loved every minute of our stay, we would definitely go back.

What a lovely little treasure to discover! This recently refurbished hotel offers cleanliness and comfort at an incredibly low price. Breakfast is simple but good, and we enjoyed our hearty galettes at the crêperie La Cabane, where it's winter all year round. The RER train station is located at a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and from there it is about 30 minutes to the Eifel Tower. The Château Versailles is 30 mins by car. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. If your stay includes a Sunday afternoon, you will find that the place is closed between noon and 4pm, which is a bit odd, but we didn't find it too problematic. Good parking space, safely closed off at night. We stayed here for two nights in a bedroom which nicely accommodated the three of us (parents and teenage son).
