“One week of comfort, relaxation and great service”

Very comfortable accommodation. Great food and friendly staff in the restaurant and bar. Lovely setting, with lots of kangaroos grazing on the golf course in the afternoon. Happy hour 5-7pm everyday in the bar.
Bathroom is a generous size. Great having a washing machine and dryer for anyone on an extended multi-location holiday. Kitchen is functional (didn't use it for cooking but facilities are there). Living area is spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet location overnight.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor have easier access to the pool. All rooms have a patio or balcony area th...

This property ticked most of the boxes for us. We were on a short golfing trip to a new area and wanted to stay on course and have a bit of comfort. Unfortunately there are some minor flaws.

Firstly I can highly recommend the golf course, it's challenging, interesting and well maintained considering we were there at the end of summer after a very hot, dry summer. I also thought the green fees were very reasonable.

The "resort" is located a few minutes drive from the township of Normanville so you really do need a car, especially as there is no breakfast served apart from a "continental" served to your room at a hefty price. There are places in town to get a more substantial breakfast.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable with a big bathroom and spa (unfortunately you wouldn't want to be in a rush for a bath as it took forever to fill). It was nice to sit on the balcony drinking some wine we had picked up from Mclaren Vale just up the road on our way, while we waited.

During our stay the weather was quite warm and a dip in the pool was most refreshing. I'm not sure management had considered how hot the "plastic grass" around the pool gets as it was burning on your feet as you got in and out of he pool. I would certainly recommend they take a serious look at that.

We didn't try the restaurant due to time constraints but did enjoy a refreshing beverage in the bar after golf. The staff there were very friendly and the outlook is very nice.

I think this property is a good choice for the area but don't expect 5 star otherwise you will be disappointed. Having said that it is reasonably priced.

We spent one night in the beautiful Superior King Spa Suite on Valentines Day. This was also our 'Babymoon' and our last chance to spend quality time together before the impending birth of our first child in just 5 weeks. We were looking for a nice location with privacy and comfort. We were instantly blown away by the beautiful setting that the venue is nestled in. The room we were given was just fantastic with everything we needed and all the comforts we could possibly need. The pool was just amazing and such a perfect way to spend the afternoon for a heavily pregnant mum to be! There wasn't a sound to be heard throughout the resort, residence were all sitting back and relaxing and enjoying the breath taking serenity. We were lucky enough to enjoy a fantastic lunch and dinner within the resort at the Peninsula Restaurant, where the staff were friendly, genuine and down to earth. All staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was just incredible. The attention to detail through out the whole premises was evident as soon as we arrived. We loved our stay, and even though it was only one night we returned to Adelaide feeling like we had been away for 3 days. We have decided this will be our location for our honeymoon in 2014. I have stayed at resorts in Thailand, America and around Australia, and as we will have a 1yr old when we honeymoon, we don't want to have to travel far from him to enjoy some time alone. This venue is perfect and certainly feels like your away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, yet it wont cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend this venue to anyone. I know we wont be staying anywhere else when we want some time away. Links Lady Bay ticks all the boxes! Well done!

Great getaway spot on South Australia"s Fleurieu Peninsular at small beachside location of Normanville. If you want shops cafes supermarkets people nightlife...well this is not the place for you .It is out of the main small village also well back from the beach, but all units are self contained in a resort like complex with magnificent views of the ocean surrounding countryside sunset and kangaroos from the private balcony of your 1 bed king bed spa unit. The units are best suited to a couple. Adequately equipped with a kitchenette, TV in lounge and 1 in bed area, huge bathroom and communal laundry if needed. Rooms are serviced daily. Also a great restaurant and bar area serving good meals with a view from the elevated verandas. Can dine in this area or take back to room. The resident masseur, Bruce, is a must so book in for his services on arrival as he books out quickly. He has rooms in the resort. Best if you have a car as you can visit many sights along the coast and it is not situated with easy access to amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and did not want to leave so booked a late check out. Did I mention the pool and oh yes it is built on a golf course so if you play golf.......So check this place out for a great quiet relaxing break and sit on your balcony (ask for top floor level 3 when booking) and sip a champagne and or coffee and watch the ocean, sunset and kangaroos. ( only complaint was bed was probably past used by date and needed replacing...was told this was to happen)

Room Tip: Top floor (3rd level) is best Away from the pool area in summer months.

We had high hopes for this hotel given its 41/2 star rating and the expensive tariff. But with no room service, no wireless, no breakfast available unless you preordered by 5pm. We were travelling with 2 children and they only provided a sofa bed for them both. The boys were not impressed and one ended up sleeping on the floor. We asked for a roll away bed but were told they did not have any. The reception said many of kids slept on the floor. Totally unacceptable and not worth $265 a night. We would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit for 4 nights. We had a kitchen, so it cut down the cost of having to buy all our meals.
The resort is located in the middle of a links golf course, in the distance is the bay, so a great spot to have a coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine as the sun sets while you watch the kangaroos.
The food in the attached restaurant was ok - good, but not great, and not many cheap options. Pizzas were quite reasonable.
The beach near by was clean and white, and the town of Normanville was big enough to get anything you need. The pub did pretty good meals as well.
Only fault would be that the resort is a bit out of town and you had to drive everywhere, or eat on site if you didn't want to cook.
Great location to explore the region though - only 1/2 hour drive to Victor Harbour in one direction or wine regions to the north. The road on the west side has lots of little beaches and bays to explore.

Room Tip: There are no elevators, so if you have mobility issues, try and request a room at lobby level.

We did a timeshare swap for this unit and were very pleased wth the facilities. Staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, unit was a good size and every unit has a view of a wonderful sunset every night! The best treat for us Americans is the large neighborhood population of grey kangaroos. They are out and about every morning and evening munching away near the golf course. In fact, when we pulled into reception, a mob of about 30 came bouncing across the road in front of us. We have a 2 bedroom timeshare and the swap was only a one bedroom, but it was more than adequate even though it was not a "full" kitchen and the kitchen area was over the carpet!! We played the golf course and it was a very good course though in early spring fairways still a little sparse. Would go back in a heart beat!
