“Small, over priced and in need to some repairs. Tourist con.”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

We took the kids as it read ok on the internet. 200kr per adult, then another 20kr for a bag of moss. Many of the little huts buildings we in need of repair. The site is only about 50 x 30m and the little hut tent is full of gifts that you can buy for 30,40,50% less in Kiruna anyway. Avoid. Better to go to Skansen in Stockholm and get every animal in Sweden, on a massive site for half the price. I simply can't encourage people to avoid this place enough, they are just ripping off tourists who won't ever come back anyway.

“Tourist rip off, so dissapointed we complained, AVOID”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

Staying at the Ice Hotel we had been recommeded this attraction by the Kiruna Tourist Information. What an absolute rip off. 200SEK pp - about £40 for two people. There is nothing to see, the 'exhibits' were delapidated, the signs on the culture/history were frozen over so were illegible, the only staff were tucked up warm in the small office/cafe, there was only ONE scabby reindeer in an enclosure, seriously we could not believe that this had been recommended. Took us less than 10 minutes to walk around. All outside so in minus 38 degrees c you would have thought something would be inside. It was like walking around someone's back garden with a couple of torn teepees in it. Went in to complain, thinking they had the price wrong or we'd missed the larger section ... they weren't at all interested in feedback. AVOID.

“Slight tourist rip off”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Went here on the last morning of my stay £40 for us to enter not much to see and considering it was minus 34 pretty tough to even walk around this outdoor attraction!!! All we wanted to do was feed the reindeer which I did and that was about £4 for a bag of food but you need to pay the entry to do this!!!Lovley to meet Sami people and see their culture but not a fabulous place.

“Sami Culture Retreat”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

I wnjoyed the history, the church next door was part of the experience. My nephews enjoyed the rheindeer rides, but I spent several hours in :geek history bliss: ! I was always fasinated by Sami culture and after my visit to this museum I am even more interested in such a great people and culture. The small gift shop had many great books and souvenirs. The staff at the museum went out of their way to be informative
