They have a few reindeer you can feed, but be careful that they don't attack you... The rest of the museum is recreates the life in Lapland.

I did not find this particularly interesting. There were a number of sami wigwams just with some reindeer skins spread around and a couple of other things such as a baby's hammock. Two poor reindeer in a field behind the museum. And a few exhibits. For SEK 150 each!

Admittedly it was winter with a lot of snow and wind so getting round was not easy.

But next-door is the church - an interesting building with a good (if somewhat doctrinally questionable altarpiece)

It's a very nice little museum with some great info about sami life, but me and a friend mainly came to hand feed the reindeer (150kr entrance fee + 20kr for reindeer food), it was lots of fun and you are left totally alone with the reindeer (which shows how safe and tame they are), but you will see everything there is to see between 1 and 2 hours so don't plan an entire day here!

The museum was OK but we just went there to hand feed the reindeers which was fun. Just remember though as soon as they see the bag of food they will chase you to get it.

We came here as part of a Sami tour with the Ice hotel but it is situated within walking distance to the Ice Hotel, very close to the Old Homestead Restaurant. There was some good info about the Sami culture and a lovely little gift shop, we had already been to a reindeer enclosure so passed on feeding the reindeer here as it was getting dark and cold but all in all a nice little place.
