There is not much to see here in winter, you can learn about the Sami culture and their traditions, but that's pretty much it. There is a souvenir shop with interesting things but it's a little bit expensive.

“Small, but very nice atmosphere”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

In this open air museum you could really learn about Sami people ant they way of living. You could go inside all buildings Sami people used to live in.
We visited this place during summer, during a very sunny day and it was beautiful! There was also a lot to read around all things in three languages. Reindeers were cool - and you could spend as much time with them as you wanted, touch them and get to know them! There was a shop with very interesting souvenirs too. I really enjoyed that - it was small but worth to go there. There was also a possibility to eat something/drink and have a guided tour if you wanted to know more.

“Nice”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

it has been nice to spend time here. It could be better if someone can explain the visit, but it's worthy to see. And you can walk between the reindeer, and if they want, touch them..

“FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE”
Reviewed November 22, 2011

Went on Christmas Day,(after the reindeer had worked hard all night) and found it a truly magical experience. The history that surrounds this area with the Sami people is very interesting. The shop and cafe make the trip enjoyable, with unusual gifts from local people, and a warm drink before you venture back.
Really enjoyed ourselves. 10/10
