Upon arrival on 13th September 2010 was asked if we wanted to upgrade for aircon for extra 50 euros. We decided to and was led to room 224 which was in the new block. This room was large with 3 single beds, fitted wardrobes, small bath and shower, two sinks and was overlooking the pool.
The room was clean with fresh sheets and towels. The bathroom was not cleaned to a high standard but lets face it we would not be eating off the floor or checking behind the loo ! We had clean sheets and towels mid week.
The staff were polite and friendly, the food was fine although after a few days like all fully inclusive holidays we went out for a steak meal one night.
The chef, scottish Derek was poorly while we where there - (hope your on the mend Derek ) but produced a lovely curry and all the main meals where nice.
Shame we didnt have any nice puddings (was usually watermelon or jelly) but this is only because I have a sweet tooth!
Short 10 minute walk to the beach which was great and nice to get back to the pool after a walk back up the hill to the hotel.
To sum up - A nice relaxing holiday, pool nice, beach great, staff friendly, food ok, great for the price we paid of £270 each all in.
We found so many people moaning and complaining - if they expected luxury they should have booked a 4* star hotel and paid triple the price !!
