Duni Marina Royal Palace

Certificate of Excellence

It is a excellent 5 star hotel, not only for the summer time, but also for Easter Holyday for exemple, if you want to spend a short but wonderful vacation. All-inclusive is for real! Food and local beverages are more than OK. The rooms are big and clean. More over, the hotel staff is friendly despite the fact that a few of them are able to speak English. I will go back to Duni this spring, but at the Marina Beach Hotel. I hope that the accomodation conditions are simmilar to Marina Royal Palace, and the beverages too.

Room Tip: Rooms with the sea view are better

Same issues like Royal Marina Beach ;)
Every body is looking to Royal Marina, but the view is much, much better from here ;) You can use the pool and the restaurant from Royal Marina ;) In fact they are almost the same except that crowd from Royal Marina ;)
I read some of the reviews and is fare to say that if you don't have your car, you are stuck there ... which is not such a bad thing if you have imagination .
And yes, no Internet without enormous tax . And even if you pay the tax, which is exorbitant, you don't have full signal or decent speeds ;)

My wife and I (we are Bulgarian) have long experience with all-inclusive Bulgarian hotels since the very beginning of this type of hotel service here. Believe me this one is of the best available. I wonder how this hotel was voted (so far) as second best in the Duni area here (probably by some jokers who have no idea about the other hotels) but this one is seriously the BEST. Now, I am sure there are even more opulent hotels on the Bulgarian seaside and there sure are hotels offering UAI (with imported alcoholic drinks) but not with the incredible staff who work at the Duni Marina Royal Palace. If you decide to use the same table during your stay the waitresses will learn your name and drinking habits the very first day and will later welcome you by name and "The usual, Sir/Madam?" after which promptly will bring you the drinks. The hotel is exceptionally clean (I am tempted to say 'overclean' if there was such a term) and the tiles around the pools and the square between the two largest hotels are washed with cleaning liquid twice - late night and early morning. We were lucky to get one of the rooms with presidential balconies: I uploaded a photo to give you an idea but actually you cannot believe such a thing exists before you open the balcony door and go outside with open mouth! Even so, I would not mind if we were allocated a room with a pure seaview (over the cliffs - it is very quiet there and you only hear the surf and the wind). The food is very good (thought the choice cannot be compared to the best of the 5* Turkish hotels, e.g. Delphin Royal Deluxe in Alanya, but that one is simply out of this Universe regarding the food), the drinks are local (remember, it is no UAI) but from good winery (the Yambol region) so you can drink as much as you can take with no bad hangover the next morning. The wine is brought with a smile to the table in ice bucket. The water in the pool seems not very warm (27-ish degrees C) but your body needs less than a minute to adapt and then you can stay (we did) for an hour without getting out. Summer being not so hot here makes it a good choice throughout the tourist season.
It is a pity I am not native English speaker to give you a better idea of how good this hotel really is, I am simply at a lack of expressive adjectives.
Needless to say we will be there next June! And June next year...

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a large balcony (pool side view but you can see the sea as well) or a room with...

I have been to this hotel twice now with my partner. (We are 24 yrs old) We travelled 2nd week in September this year and last week of August/1st week in September last year. The whole resort is all inclusive.
Both times this holiday has been exceptional! We booked through Thomas Cook with Style holidays and made a small additional fee (£30 for a sea view room) I would recommend this to anyone as the rooms are fantastic. We will be going back to this hotel again. It offers excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. We arrived in the early hours of the morning ( most flights are night flights, but are not as bad as you think) to be greeted by friendly bellboys which insist on taking your cases to your room, (refreshments are also available) they also give you a quick talk on the lay out of the hotel; mainly telling you when and where breakfast is served.
This hotel has 1 large restaurant that has seating inside or outside. We were always able to get a seat, we didn't have to wait for a table once. Royal palace guests can also use the restaurants and facilities in all of the other hotels. There is a total of 3 other hotels, all with restaurants and pools.
We used all pools, the royal palace pool tended to be a lot quieter and warmer than the others. For a more lively pool the marina beach is perfect. This is the main activity pool, various activities are ran everyday except Sundays. There are activities for everyone, and unlike some hotels these activities are not annoying or disturbing for swimmers or sunbathers!
Marina royal palace is situated in a holiday village, in this holiday village there is: an amptheartre: where all if the evening entertainment is ran. The entertainment staff are extremely talented and give an excellent quality of shows. ( not the classic cheesey poor quality normally seen abroad) Without spoiling it the brake dancers and fire dancers are amazing! They are a very talented, the entertainment staff work very hard as they run all of the day and night activities.
There is also: a spa, indoor gym, outdoor gym, relaxing pool-in the holiday village, huge private beach, beach bar, mini golf, shops, night club, supermarket, table tennis, volleyball, kids club, kids disco ( we never saw this as it is situated in a quiet place away from the pools) football and water sports. The hotel is situated in a private bay and a nature reserve. The holiday village is very secure only people staying in the village can get in past security.
Day trips are available and local villages can be visited my a taxi-very good prices!
A beach party or pool party is on a Thursday night.
Overall this holiday was fantastic the food was lovely a huge variety catering for everyone and each night is different. There is always a bbq offering fresh meat and fish. The alcohol isn't cheap and nasty. Champagne is available on all inclusive and cocktails. There are a number of snack bars offering sandwhiches, hot food and fresh fruit.

The rooms are cleaned daily, and bottled water is available all over the resort to take to your room.

I can not wait to go back this hotel caters for everyone!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms !

we enjoyed a nice relaxing break, staff very good, room was very clean and spacious with a nice sea view food was plentiful and adequate al a carte restaurants excellent well worth a visit the drinks are not great but after a few you get use to it hic .
the pools are cold but very clean and there was plenty of loungers both at the pool and beach
The sea is shallow and clear with lots of crabs but they do not bother you transfers take 50 mins and are in the middle of the night.
highly recommend the sea trips but the river cruise less so pretty boring.
all in all a nice time and would recommend this hotel
