Thera are many bedrooms but some off them are better! We asked for a twin bedded room ans can sit outside other rooms are on the first floor and had a ( sometimes windy balcony) All is verry coordinated. From coming in till going out (including breakfast). We had a good stay for one night.

A wonderful place to get away to, where you feel at home and perfectly looked after. Bernardine is a cracking host, with sound recommendations for your time away, and good breakfast to boot - if you ask very nicely, you'll get cheesecake.
Very, very much appreciated!

We had a great stay here. Bernadine was very friendly on arrival and offered us all sorts of advice and tips for the area. The breakfast was delicious as well. The rooms were very well equipped with huge beds and luxurious furnishings. The B&B itself is in a very peaceful location and it made for a wonderful stay.

The B&B is very well presented and kept extremely clean. The breakfasts are 5* - stylishly presented and very tasty. The coffee is very good too! You might even be lucky and get a taste of the Chocolate Cheesecake (heavenly!).

Very friendly and welcoming host who took the time to tell us about the local area and restaurants.

There are some interesting books in the library and an offer of different locations in the B&B to read them including your own little outside tranquil area.

There is an equipped kitchen for guests with microwave and fridge so you can store and re-heat food. It also has an honesty bar.

If you are in Langebaan for Kite-Surfing then this place is very accommodating and provided us an area to dry out our wetsuits. The homemade rusks are also a great energy snack for the hours on the water. We parked in the beach car park next to Driftwood's - you can set up within metres of your car - only remember to set up right of the red flag.

Room Tip: The downstairs rooms have a little private outdoor area to sit within the garden.

We stayed in Le Mahi from 20/12/11 to 22/12/11 in a double room. The room was very clean and comfortable and included some sherry, chocolate and home made rusks. The room also included a little garden area for sitting out in the sun. The location made it very safe for walking at any time of the day. The breakfasts were delicious and were different each morning with the Host, Bernadine, being a exceptional cook, I can rate her baking skills and scone making as the best I tasted in a long time. Bernadine is a lovely host and catered for our needs and queries at every call. Thank you so much Bernadine for making our short but unforgettable stay in Langebann a wonderful experience.

We chose to stay here as we wanted a base for exploring the Western Cape area over a few days and had read good reviews. We we’re not disappointed! Bernadine was very friendly and welcoming giving us a wealth of information about the area.

The room, in which sherry & chocolate awaited us, was exceptionally clean and comfortable with its own little garden area for sitting out in the sun. The breakfasts were traditional delicious South African and really set you up for the day. There was a kitchen with microwave for use by guests together with an honesty bar.

The location was really good too. A quiet residential area but only a short walk to the nearest restaurant and not much further to the sea and to the beach front with a selection of shops and restaurants. All very safe for walking, even at night.

We would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

The rooms were superbly clean- the bed linen crisp and the bed comfortable... With chocolates and sherry as a welcoming touch - The Bathroom too, was new and clean and functional.. Each room had a private outdoor nook aswell as several common areas ... Up and downstairs... We socialized one evening with a delightful Swiss couple while our hostess attended to all our questions with an outstanding local knowledge as well as ensuring our liquid sustenance! The entire house is decorated tastefully yet in a way that you stop to enjoy the owner's unique decorating story telling style. Breakfast was upstairs with the windows scrolled back to let in the warm west coast air on a delightful morning and then we were served a gourmet breakfast!! What a delicious surprise!! By far the best experience we had in South Africa!, Thank you Bernie! Also the first B & B we encountered with delicious expresso coffee! Our hostess not only a font of local knowledge, warm and welcoming charm is a gourmet chef and barista!! Top that! Ally and Billy Australia
