Went a few times once at evening but best of all at lunch, the goulash buffet is great and good value for money 10euro including salad and bread and they make a descent Finish latte , the pizzas are also very nice especially the rain deer one all reasonably priced in this expensive area.

From the outside it doesn't look up to much, but we found it to be the best in Yllas. Moreover, the younger members of our party of nine (who eat out regularly) declared it their best meal worldwide of 2016 (we were there in December). All the staff are very friendly and speak good English. The chef, who took our booking, noted our special requests from fussy eaters. The menu has some interesting choices for the more adventurous. The food was freshly prepared and well presented. The fussy eaters were well satisfied - chef got their preferences exactly right. The more adventurous were unanimous in their praise. Service was excellent. Cannot fault it at all - so much so that we wouldn't consider eating anywhere else when in Yllas! This is one you must not miss.

Had fondue dinner with family and some friends. We started with cheese and continued with beef and reindeer. All was very good and the wine list still decently priced. Sweets were good but downgraded on quality from our past visit last year, that took the last point away this time.

After day one on the slopes we ventured into this lovely little restaurant. It is small and quaint but we managed to get a table with no issues around 7.30pm. Initially the menu choices seemed limited. Our two children opted for the hotdog and fries and a cheese pizza, although the waiter advised us that the pizza may not be available but that he would ask the chef. During this discussion another family advised us that their children had opted for pasta with tomato sauce. This was not on the menu, but was available on request. My daughter opted for this and it was a delicious, homemade tomato sauce.
My husband opted for chateau briand... which led me to have food envy!! I opted for the fried cheese, which was also absolutely beautiful! It came with a huge selection of mini salads and other tasty sides.
I would certainly come back to this restaurant and may consider pre-booking so that we can order the fondue in advance (as this cannot be ordered ad hoc of an evening). We would like to have preordered the mini pizzas that you cook at your table
too but this appears to be only available for 6+ people.
Highly recommend though. Food is awesome!

Friendly staff and cosy restaurant. Quick and helpful service. The chef clearly took pride in his cooking and explained the food to us. There was a range of food to please all. The prices are reasonable to high depending on what you order, but it is well worth it. I had the burger which was freshly made. Another had the fish in sauce (Pike) and now she insists we have to go back for another meal later in the week!
