This place is ok and a nice place to catch up with friends . Six of us went on Saturday lunchtime and we ordered 3 x Barra Colombiana which is a mixed platter for two people to share. There was certainly plenty of food and I enjoyed it with a few Colombian Beers although i don't think everyone enjoyed it so much as there was probably too much fried food on the platter

Went there with a Scoopon voucher for a '14 course Colombian tasting experience with wine'.

Pro:

Large area with indoor and outdoor seating with a bar on the ground floor, pleasant decor and lots of twinkling lights.
Friendly service, and food - lots of it - attractively presented.
Finger cheese in pastry (the absolute best dish), chorizo, fried cassava and empanaditas all good. OK salad.
White wine (one glass) (Marsanne) OK.

Con:

Took a while to acknowledge we were there, although few other customers except in the bar.
With the exceptions above, all the rest of the food, (especially the pork and beef) was too DRY, VERY chewy, seemed overcooked and lacking in any flavour. Didn't eat these beyond the first mouthful.
Expected a bit more spicy 'oomph'. Major disappointment.
Couple at the next table took numerous photographs of their food (?) but hardly ate any of it and left quickly. Wonder why?

Have had other South American dining experiences at other restaurants around, but this was a definite disappointment.
Doubt we will be back.

We bought the Groupon voucher for a 14 dish Columbian taster banquet for two. I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to book in for Valentines Day. When we arrived it took a few minutes for staff to acknowledge our presence, one waiter walked straight past us! He later offered us food and drinks that weren't ours, and once the food came he didn't pay as any attention. He appeared to be new and possibly had little English, but was friendly enough and willing to please, just not much idea! We were then directed to the bar (where it appears all food orders are placed) and were were then served by a friendly man who gave us a glass of red wine each (it came with the deal, and while not the best wine I've had, it was ok)). Even though we had booked, there wasn't a reserved table, we were told to sit wherever. It wasn't busy so we sat near the open air courtyard. A saxaphone player gave a great atmosphere to the place. Our banquet arrived within 15 minutes. The "14 dish' banquet included 3 small dipping bowls, marinated chicken bites, pork belly bites, chorizo bites, salad, a pastry cheese cone (my favourite!) fried banana bites (tasty), and other foods I've never had before. At first we thought it wasn't much food but it was really nice and quite filling. We were unable to finish it all. If you are looking for a casual, relaxed atmosphere with some interesting food (and drinks), this is worth a visit.
