The food in this establishment is home cooked and delicious. Antonis is very attentive and is very thankful that you go there to eat. There is a nice view of the beach and it is great place to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Efaristo polli.

This is a really old fashioned Greek tavern. Limited range of food but lovely fresh and home cooked feel.

Friendly and attentive service with the odd free drink thrown in; they always remember us from one year to the next and this is my family's favourite restaurant in Kefalos.

The area you sit in is attractive and the food is ok but the kleftico was very disappointing. It came in filo pastry as opposed to in a pot and was very dry.

We have been to Kampos a number of times over the years and during our recent trip we ate there three times. We had very good food and service on each occasion. My partner had the lamb kleftico (quite unusual in that it is served in filo pastry) and I enjoyed moussaka. Portions are not as big as other establishments in Kefalos, but that is no bad thing! Home cooked/cut chips served with main courses. Overall pretty good value for money in a pleasant atmosphere. Complimentary wine on one occasion and ouzo on another (as we were drinking our litre of the house wine a little more slowly than usual!). 'Mr Kampos' always remembers us and is very welcoming to his family run establishment.

My husband and I ate here in late June 2013 as first time visitors to Kefalos. It lies back from the beach road, past Argo behind Syrtaki. It's not the best looking restaurant in Kefalos but my God someone knows what they are doing in the kitchen!! It has a rustic charm, lovely service, real home cut chips, great homemade mousaka , lovely wine but best of all a Kleftiko to die for. We've had them all over Greece; in a pot, in a paper, in a foil but never wrapped in a light filo pastry with a delicate gravy with the feta cheese melted through it coating pieces of juicy lamb. A triumph of Keftikos. All the meals coming out looked great and excellent value.

After trying most tavernas reviewed in Kefalos, I had saved this til last and wish we hadn't. When we go back, we will make a bee line for Kampos and suggest if you are a Greek foodie - you do the same.
