I stayed last week with my friend we had a great time been to kefalos many times been going there since 1983 first time stay at sacallis Steveie and petty great hosts food very good and varied especially as we were half board we were on different menu bit it was great we did pay extra 5 euros for the wednedsay and sat night bbq so we could join in drink as much wine as you want well worht it as we had 3 karafs , beds made and room cleaned every day, no kids pool which was great for us, good size and clean adult pool [ ikds can use it if with adult], the best about this place is its position you are literally on the beach very shirley valantine. I would recommend this to anyone

Room Tip: Best rooms to the back which overlooks the beach

Well the 2 star rating on this hotel is massively under rating and far below what we would have described it as, great location, fantastic staff who could not do enough for you.
The chef was very personable as were the ground staff who never stopped working.
The food choice was second to none, nothing was too much trouble.
Yes the room sizes are not massive but with a double bed, fitted double wardrobe, fridge, flat screen TV and en suite - what more could you ask for........................well other than a kettle to make tea and coffee that is. Rooms were cleaned every day with teh exception of Sundays, fresh linen every other day.
We had cause to mention to the staff that the water was cold in our bathroom on day one of our stay but once the problems was known to the owner it was rectified within 24 hours.
Would deffinately go back - perfect for couples of all ages, ideal on the beach, walking distance to local harbour on one side and a small walk along the beach to some old ruins the other.
A complete chill out zone.
Thank you for a great holiday

Have just returned from 2 weeks at Sacallis Inn. Was very impressed as it is a modern hotel and very well furnished and maintained. The family are all very friendly and helpful and the staff work extremely hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

We had an apartment which was spacious and airy. The rooms were cleaned every day. Fresh towels daily and bend linen changed everyother day. The bathroom was modern with a full sized bath and shower with a fixed screen with plenty of hot water.

The restaurant was right on the beach and the food was of an extremely good standard with plenty of choice. The barbeque was particularly good value with free wine.

In summary I would say it is one of the best hotels in Greece I have stayed. The location was superb and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Probably the only criticism I would make is charging hotel guests for the use of the sunbeds - but that it the only downside. Would definately recommend it.

Enjoyed our holiday in Kos, the weather was perfect for early October, which couldn’t be said for the hotel. Where do I start the only good thing was the view from the balcony.

The bathroom was so small when you sat on the toilet your feet where in the shower, the toilet seat was broken, no plug in sink and when you had a shower the whole place was flooded and overall it wasn’t very clean.

The first week the outside of the hotel didn’t look too bad, but towards the end of that week things started to change and the hotel started closing around us. First to go where the mattresses off the sunbeds, when we complained the owner was obnoxious and said he had to dry them out ready for his guests next season, what about his guest this season? We all complained and he did put some back after the reps had a word with him but he was not happy.

After this we were not very happy with his attitude but did stay around the pool for a couple of days, however we did go to a taverna just down the road for lunch only to be stopped by him again, he told us to get in touch with our rep to clarify the situation about using the pool. He said if using the pool you must eat at his snack bar. I understand you do this if you are going to another hotel to use their facilities, but surely you can use the pool where you are staying without having to eat there. Outside the hotel he was advertising FREE pool and sunbeds!!!

After this we went to use the pool at the Zeus, which was immaculate and puts his hotel to shame.

The breakfast the first week was good with plenty of choice, but the second week it got less and less and the last day it was stale bread.

Also the last two days of our stay our toilet didn’t flush and the cold water tap didn’t work at all, saying that, the hot wasn’t very hot either! Your shower in the evening was luke warm and in the morning you couldn’t get under it, it was that cold.

I can understand that it is getting to the end of the season, but why take guests in if you are closing down.

Despite the above we did enjoy our holiday but would NOT recommend this hotel.

The view from the balcony is lovely but the rooms are small the bathroom is tiny, to sit on the toilet you have to put your feet in the shower tray.We had no hot water & the air conditioning unit had been covered for the winter so it was a choice of sweltering or being bit by mosquitoes.
