Stayed here with friends for a music weekend at the beginning of November. We shared a spacious family room. The beds were very comfortable, and it was wonderful to have 2 generous sized singles as well as the double, so often you get nasty little pull-outs or similar crammed into the rooms. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasurable experience. The food was great, something I already new as I have eaten here on many occasions while staying with friends in the area. If you are visiting Claremorris I would recommend the McWilliam for your stay. Just be aware it is not in the town center, but it would only take 10mins to walk there.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and was very quiet and peacefull

Stayed here over the October bank holiday weekend. We got an excellent rate on our room and had to pay extra for breakfast, which was worth every penny. This is a very hard working hotel, who puts a lot of time and effort into its product. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and the serve was top notch. Our room was very comfortable. Leisure and Spa facilities were first class also. At the rates offered, this hotel is doing an excellent job.

With an impressive lobby I was expecting a bit of this wow factor to be evident in the bedrooms unfortunately the rooms are back to basic functional and clean but the price was great for a nights b&b so I can'nt complain.Beware it is outside the town so location is not the best. But as a bed for the night at a good price this is it.Staff were nice and breakfast was good.

Hotel itself was very nice and updated. Our room was clean, but housekeeping in general around the hotel could be better. Breakfast was standard in the nice restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We booked into the McWIlliam Park to break our journey to a wedding the following day. From the time we entered the hotel to the time we left we could not praise it highly enough. Reception staff, room staff, bar and restaurant staff were all polite, professional, courteous an above all extremely friendly. We chose to eat in the bar that evening and the food excellent, similarly breakfast in the restaurant was superb with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The room was quiet, very well appointed, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed in it and was extrmely comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just spent, booked on whim, 3 days at McWilliam Park Hotel and could not recommend it highly enough. Staff were very friendly, efficient, professional and most helpful. On arrival we asked for a room at the back of the hotel not realising that the room already allocated was at the rear, the receptionists were most apologetic that it did not have a view however we could not have had anything better as were were looking out over hills and there was absolutely no noise. Rooms spacious and clean and food excellent. We ate from the bar menu on the first night and on the second night, because the dining room was booked for a private function, we were offered the dining room menu in the bar for a reduced price, a little touch which showed courtesy to us as valued guests, the meal was first class, served without delay and piping hot. Regarding our meal in the dining room on the last night, words could not do it justice, duck like I have never tasted and my husband's roast beef melted at the touch of the fork. All in all this is a hotel worthy of its four stars if not more, lovely location, only 1/2 mile form Claremorris and ideal for touring the sights of Mayo and above all ideal for a relaxing break. Marvellous spa facilities, unfortunately we did not have enough time to avail. Maybe next time.

Room Tip: We were happy with room 208
