Booked an evening meal here on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed.
The restaurant is located in the centre of Claremorris and on-street parking was available nearby. The restaurant is on first floor level up a flight of stairs so accessibility could be an issue for some.
Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Our waitress, the owner’s daughter, couldn't have been more helpful or responsive to our needs. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and the decor was up to date without being gaudy.
The menu offered a wide choice of European, Indian and Thai dishes. With the able assistance of our waitress, we ordered a selection of Indian food - chicken biryani, lamb, prawn & chicken tandoori, chicken korma and a bottle of Chilean white wine. The food was delicious, not over spicy but with a good kick nonetheless. The freshness and quality of the ingredients was evident from the taste. Our bill came to €58 for 2 mains, a bottle of wine & 2 coffees, which we considered good value for what we had.
